@nightcrawlerbamf Blame the Smurfs. That's what I heard anyway. The network (I don't recall which) apparently preferred an extra hour of the Smurfs over this X-men cartoon.
No place to hide, No place to run, The Mutant Age, Has now begun! X-MEN! X-MEN! This is the day! This is the day! X-MEN! X-MEN! Coming your way! Magneto's hordes are on the way, to pillage, burn and blunder. But there's one team that will not yield, The Team that strikes like thunder! X-MEN! X-MEN! This is the day! This is the day! X-MEN! X-MEN! Coming your way! When has the X-Men not had a good opening theme?
This is a crazy awesome episode, but I guess the script never should have had Wolverine calling someone a Ding lol, but that was the late 80s/90s for you! Still awesome whether or not Wolverine is Australian!
You know when I saw it long ago... I always thought it was an actual series... shame really it never happened back then. Only thing weird about it was Wolverines voice as I never pictured him that way :p
Apparently it was caused due to some confusion with the voice director and voice actor when the script called for Wolverine to call someone a "Dingo" the voice director thought he was meant to be an Australian...
Well, remember that the one episode that Wolverine was in on the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends series ["A Firestar is Born"], he DID speak with an Australian accent.
How this didn't get picked up as a series, I have no idea.
