1:37 - The furniture is too realistic to ever be The Sims related. Maybe that is a sneak peak for The Sims 4 which will be released in 1-3 years from now. The bookcase next to the wall looks exactly like the expensive bookcase in The Sims 2 the plant in the corner, the coffee table and the bowl that looks like dragon scales from The Sims 2: Apartment Life witch is all from The Sims 2. The couch and the armchair is from The Sims 2 and 3 and the carpet is from The Sims 2. Mysterious. Could be TS4.

@CountDonHabboUS The Sims 3 has taken A LOT of stuff from The Sims 2. A lot. For example, this could be The Sims 3, these stuff can be found in catalog, as I remember (but not strongly :) ). Or, it could be converted, and these converted objects can be found on ModTheSims. On the other hand, it COULD be The Sims 2, too. Just download glassy floors again from MTS, set all graphics on High, and voila.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it is The Sims 2 or The Sims 3 either. ;)

2. It isn't there ( the house) they built it to show off the improved houses on the improved view

3. Of course it is. It's the Corsican Bistro, only a different color.

4. Always. The entire North side of Sunset Valley is covered in pines.

5. They are ALL in the game, but they are recolored with the new Create-a-Style.

And I'm guessing the "shop" you saw at your friend's is just the spa, since it was a deleted idea...Check his game again and tell me if that's the spa or boutique, with interactions and all, ok? ;)

The reason a lot of these pictures don't look like the game is because it is just concept art, they aren't all screen shots, for those who don't know what concept art is, it's pictures that the game designers have hand drawn or made up in some other sort of software, just to give them guide lines or the "concept" of how it should look like the one at 1:40

@hothotrob23 It is that realistic, it just isn't from that close of a look or at that angle. Also, there is down loadable custom clothing on the website, which would explain why they look different. Also, the colors and textures are customizable.

@hothotrob23 If you turn your graphics to maximum, that's how it looks, and when Sims 3 is at max. graphics you'll find it's much better than Sims 2.

Oh, and there are clothing stores in expansion packs, where you can sell your inventions and such. You can change the design of community lot interiors anyway.

Well now, (ok, couple moths ago) I got Sims 3.. and I AM TOTALLY DISSAPOINTED! o.O

The graphics are sooooo bad, the details can't be seen and you can't make pretty sims anymore!!!! I think sims 2 are soooooooo much better, especially if you got expansions and other stuff.

If it says that you need a video card that supports Shader Model 2.0 you have to buy a new video card that supports Pixel Shader 2.0. I have Pixel Shader 4.0 and it works GREAT!
