well yes, it totally sucks being gay. and guess why? cause of our frickin closed-minded society. maybe gays are not persecuted anymore (not legally anyway) but it's like with blacks: people don't change their customs from one moment to another, takes time. hate and fear doesn't just go away because of some laws. i guess it'll be better some time. does that sound melodramatic? i hope not;-)

The end was the saddest thing ive ever seen!! Man it must suck to be gay!! Im glad im not, i dont have to live with all that secrecy and pain all the time.

The speech at the end of the movie though was a bit over the top i found, but everything else is perfect.

I remember when this movie came out, and yes, I missed it at the pictures, but i ordered it str8 away when i was on release for the public. I will have to go buy the dvd now, cos I miss this film so much, and another i loved was 'Brokenhearts club' I think thats what it was called, it's been a long number of years so my memory isn't that good. But i recommend these movies to the people out there. hugs stu
