  • I would be nervous using a slug for HD. Don't get me wrong, it would def work, but the damage to walls could be costly. Outside is a whole different situation tho.

  • @PookieMan80 I agree. Its not my go to HD, however it'd be more than adequate for the families in the rural areas, with little to no neighbors.

  • niggers love my mossberg. fuck...man please do another video.

  • @mainvain820 Cool story bro.

  • If your shotgun uses 3" shells can you per say use a 2 3/4'' shell.............. whats the diffrence will a slighley smaller shell be bad? what will happen? what will be the diffrence?

  • @SoccerDJRob Yes you can. 2 3/4" or 3" shells will work. The 2 3/4" will have alot less recoil than a 3" shell. Nothing happens, 3" will just hurt you faster. Recoil is the difference. Hope this helped.

  • @ShotgunShooter666 Another difference, say in 00 buckshot, is with the 2 3/4'' size, there are 9 pellets of buckshot, with 3'', there are 15.

  • @truegrit379 Ahh yes. I forgot about that. Thanks. :)

  • @ShotgunShooter666 No problem, great videos! Thank you for your public service. I didn't know for sure how many pellets were in a 3 1/2'' 00 Buck, and instead of using google and taking all of the fun out of it, it gave me a great excuse to stop by a local gun store. 18 is the answer! :) Interestingly, exactly double the amount of 2 3/4''. They sure feel like twice the recoil too! haha!

  • @truegrit379 Yeah, I dont think I'll ever have the balls to shoot a 3 1/2" 00 buckshot. 3" I probably would, but thats my limit. =D

Thanks for the compliments. I really need to make more videos. Ive upgraded my guns ALOT since my last videos!

  • i found some law enforcement 2" 12 gauge buckshot shells as you can see on my "12 gauge favorites" video

  • is a slug round just one large BB?

  • @MATTNATTMATT Not really a BB like buckshot is. It's a big chunk of lead.

  • i got me a new shotgun but im having trouble on which ammo it is im pretty sure its 20 gauge it a break action double barrel but the barrel looks too small for it to be a 20 gauge please help thanx.

  • @YoungGun720 Check sides of the barrel and it'll say company and what gauge it is. Check out my my "comparing ammo". It shows 12ga,20ga and 410.

  • thanx, i did check out the barrel but it didnt say what gauge it was its a old shotgun, its a break-action double barrel shotgun the company thats makes it is called mohawk b.m. & s.h. co. i think its a 20 gauge but the two barrels are smaller then a penny.

  • @YoungGun720 Sounds like a .410 then.

  • personally I load my shotgun as follows 1st round is full power steel pleated bird shot 2 3/4'' all following rounds are federal low recoil 00 buck , they are about 150 or so feet per second slower than full power 2 3/4'' but have substantially less recoil making follow up shots easier and more rapid.

  • If that works for you, then good. I personally would use managed recoil 00bk if i found them locally, but I cant. I'm not here to tell anyone how to do anything. I'm just here to give ideas and tell my way. My way may work for me, but not you. So, do what works best for you. Thanks!

  • I feel guilty using 8 shot or 7 1/2 shot for home defense, I know I need to make sure it doesn't over penetrate. But hell man, shooting 200+ pellets at someone is a scary thought. They really ought to market less lethal ammo more.

  • Yes it is. They aren't big, but are traveling very fast. I believe there are non lethal shotgun ammo. I forgot where I saw it, but I remember seeing how lethal ammo.

  • they've got been bags, shells full of miniature darts, theres all kinds of crazy loads I've even seen small grenades

  • Thanks, FYG. I knew they has non lethal bean bags.

  • yeah they're pretty cool

  • honestly for home defense i would feel fine using trap or bird loads.... at close range there would be plenty of stopping power and you're less likely to miss.... but you're right buckshot or a slug would certainly impart more energy upon impact, just goes to show how versatile the 12 gauge is

  • I agree.

It'd take more rounds compared to a slug or buckshot, but it would be effective.

  • no comments? wow. nice video man

  • lol thanks
