@jhazard333 Wrong dude! A roots type supercharger does compress air. The main difference is in the internals, mainly the rotors & the chamber. Typically a roots blower is mounted under the carburetor(s) or injector & compresses both the fuel & air together while a centrifugal s/c only compresses the air charge & then goes through the fuel source carb or injection system. Both types however are belt driven. Better google that 1 again!
