Wow!! go frankie with that sexy little dance u do. Had to rewind it a few times.... This music puts me in the greatest mood makes u wanna grove!..been listening to Maze from day 1 their awsome... FUNKY MUSIC TO DANCE TO..
Love Frankie and Maze and always will. But this sounds too close to LTD's Back in Love Again for comfort. Same bassline, similar groove. Play them back to back and see for yourself, LTD's was first. Don't know if it was ever a case, I'm jus' sayin'. (went back and saw somebody else mentioned this a year or so ago)
Maze and Frankie Beverly - keeping the old school R & B alive and kickin'. The new school musicians could learn a thing or two cause this is how you do it live!!
oooo weeee!!!!! got me all messed up and feelin good!!!!!! thinking bout my man and can't get to him He in Baton Rouge I'm in Texas this is close as I can get right now!! Thank U ddenzeldavon
My roommate in the Air Force was Michael Lowry, Roame's Brother(Conga Player) from 1969-1972. We parties with maze in 1971 in las vegas when they were on their way to LA to meet up with Frankie. They stayed with us. We parties hard. Had reunion with Mike in July of 2009 in Las Vegas. I have been a die hard Maze Fan since then. My wife and myself have seen them over 20 time over the years. When they first came to houston we played basketball all day at the YMCA.
such an optimistic message! Such an upbeat performance! This is what music should be for, to bring people together and fill them with hope and joy and fellow-feeling - great cut, great performance
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!! I KNOW I AM BACK IN STRIDE AGAIN! OH YEAH! And who can put us in a better mood than the one and only Frankie Beverly and Maze! Great post, thanks
I first saw Maze FT. Frankie Beverly in 1985 Grant Park in Atl, Ga with my Dad. I truely thank him for exposing me to great music like this. Now I have kids of my own and they know how much music like this is to our family, thank you for saving some history that will live on for more to enjoy. Maze fan forever
Proteus1950.. To Joyce Battle,I caught your name on you tube listening to Maze singing Back In Stride Again. I am from Philly myself. 22nd and Diamond St.,the old projects just up the street from you. I saw Maze myself in New Orleans at the Essence Festival in '05, just before Katrina. Small world, small world. Philly isn't like it was back in the day, but neither is any place else.
I Went To A Maze & Frankie Beverly\Whispers Concert Last Year At The Taj Mahal(A. C.), And Let Me Tell Yeah,It Was The Kooliest Concert I Ever Seen And The Noth Philly Comedy Was Funny Too. M-n-FB Is An Smoov R-n-B Classic.
This is one of my favorite bands that I have yet to see live. Frankie Beverly sounds great in this video. Wish they would bring the funk to New Mexico!
I'm so jealous! I last saw Frankie and the boys way back in the 80's. They were AMAZING then! I bet they get better with age! You enjoy yourself, they are a great band live! I miss class bands like this! Must dig out my CD's!
Close...Think LTD (i.e. Jeffrey Osbourne) and their song called "Back in Love Again". There's a verrrrrrrrry, verrrrrry funny story behind this, by the way. Both songs are in the same musical key and have the exact same bassline :-) Search for "Back in love again LTD 12mix" on YouTube
I'm just poppin in my seat. Went to a few of his concerts back in the day. I'm just having a Frankie moment. Won't post to all of his vids but this one got me going. Thanks for posting. Oh yea!

You are so right.Frankie and the boys are the best band ever, producing uplifting tunes and slow jams that just get under your skin and stay with you forever. The best live band also.Looking forward to seeing them in London when they visit next.
This is one of the best group of all time. There not another group out there that can beat them, they will go down in history as the baddest ever be.. BACK IN STRIDE AGAIN.
this is one of the best live concert performances i think i have ever been rocked out by. Look at the audience, they are in a frenzy. maze and frankie beverly don't get recognition they deserve.
