This song got me into the Jayhawks. Radio station where I was working in 97 was throwing out CDs and this was one of them. Lucky me! I've been a fan every since.
Jayhawks fans rejoice, The Jayhawks return to Louisville KY on Oct 14, 2011. What a great band....and this is just one of their fantastic songs here, one of the few covers that is better than the original take of this song...great stuff.
who would have thought mark farner had such classic pop song in him.love the harmonies that the jayhawks bring to it.

Hmmm. Chock-full-o-hooks. It took a while to track down the echoes
of familiarity, but I think I have it: the verses are extremely reminiscent
of Janis Ian's Society's Child, while the chorus is recalling He's So Fine/My Sweet Lord

Never heard this song before, but I love it! It's feels like a simple, but addictive tune. Also love Sharleen's voice as backing vocal.
