Came across this out of the blue while looking for early examples of Marc Bolan's pre-1970 folk-rock. Honestly, this is hard for me to look at, as it must be for Ringo now. You 12-Steppers would understand. Bolan was a fine talent. Living the blown-away life isn't funny, it isn't "cool", it isn't "playful". It eventually resulted in Bolan making the choice of being a passenger in a death car. Ringo made the right, and very tough, life choices. Sobriety is a better life. Choose life!
