  • That was fucking BEAST!

  • this was impressive!

  • Awesome!

  • OH MY GOD DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FUCKING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

man srsly as soon as you started groovin my head started to bang man. YOU ARE AN AWESOME drummer you don't have the exact tempo perhaps, but man that was KILLER!

    Cheers

  • Awesome cover!! No triggers ftw

  • GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! NICE!!!!!!!!!

  • sweeeeet! never heard Phil sing quite so high.killer song-great choice.hopefully the box set will be all that it should be.

  • awesome!

  • excellent

  • You should cover more stuff by Pantera

    (Cemetery Gates, Floods...)

  • tighten the hi hats & play 16th notes on them.

  • @dimevision420 you mean 8th notes, and i actually am, but I play a really washy hi hat style and play really moller-esk strokes on the hat, so a quarter note feel is accented and thats what really is heard, plus the camera angle doesn't help much. Maybe i shoulda tightened that shit up for this song....ohh well. But honestly, too much high hat wash is better that not enough imo, ya know.

  • i dont see why WMG is such an ass when it comes to this sort of stuff, if you think about it, its like free advitising =)

  • Best drummer on youtube. Hands down. Definitely subbing to this guy. Awesome work, brother.

  • im trying to learn the guitar solo for this man

  • looks like your not getting that much power out of your pedals. you should try some wooden beaters and tightnin the springs.

  • @RustyBlade69 looks are deceiving, the powers fine man, i wouldn't switch to wood beaters either, too much attack, i like felt beaters to keep it more boomy than clicky.

  • how can i adjust my shitty pdp double pedal to mimick your pedal lol

  • @Tdrummer888 sorry no clue, i'm not familiar with pdp pedals, but i think i use a medium/strong tension, kick is placed so the beater hits around the center of the head, maybe a half inch or inch higher to get more of that heavy swing feel of the beater head. And there are also weights that ive moved to just under the beater head on the beater shaft, to give a heavier feel to the beaters. I like the feeling of mass being moved when i lay into my kicks. anyways, thats kinda how i run my pedals.

  • Awesome.......

  • Hell Yeah, i love to make Music with drummers of your kind.

Not everything played 100% perfect and tight, but constantly kickin' the Mandmates' Asses. Life and Power!

    Diggin your Band, too! ;-)

  • Awesome video!

and I'm just starting to drum, any tips on keeping separate beats? They always run together.

  • @spacebounds single things out, if your having trouble with keeping limbs independent.

For example do a beat with just your left hand and right foot, then once your comfortable with what your doing, start adding in your right hand, or left foot, until your playing with all four limbs.

or if your having trouble keeping your right hand and right foot separate, play (something simple) with just those two limbs until the problem is gone. then slowly add the others as you become comfortable.

  • @GrooveThumper

    Awesome, thanks. I'll get practicing.

  • SICK M8 !

  • Amazing as usual :)!

  • very nice! =) you using iron cobras??

  • @sohaib785 Yup, I want DW 9000's tho

  • Awesome cover! What's with the double cymbals?

  • @YouChube3 Its a trash stack, sounds like a china but very short attack.. You'll see me use it some other videos when its needed.

  • well that was very nice mate!

  • Very good cover.
