@oceanxl when I made this video the EVO 3D was not even out yet. And Otter Box was not even confirming they were making the defender case yet, I had acquired an otter box that was leaked via a merchant on eBay. So I had to just feature the case. after receiving the phone I determined that the defender case was too big for my tastes so I sold it. The EVO 3d is a nice phone but I'm moving on to the Samsung galaxy S II 4g touch. But im going to wait for the new GOOGLE NEXUS "PRIME" to release

I got a commuter for my EVO 3D, the defender just felt extremely weird, compaired to the EVO 4G version. I'm holding out for the Ballistic HC, when it cones to hardcore protection, it has a kickstand on it BTW (;

I looked at this case when i bought my 3vo and it is definately thick and bulky for normal carry. I like the size of the phone and with this case not only masking the beauty of the device but also layering the screen and camera lanses with more plastic screen protector and port holes, i just simply had to go with the Platinum Series - Hard Case with Holster from bestbuy. It doesnt have a kickstand but u just turn the phone around in the case and rotate the holster clip and thats your kickstand

I will point out a couple UPS and downs of this first the ups I'm pretty sure this will protect my phone very sturdy and thickly designed as you can see that's all I'm going to point out on the positives. Now the downs, well the screen protector makes the phone look very blurry I was watching green hornet on the phone and was not at awe, untill I took the case off, I whiped the screen protector to see if that was the problem NO you can tell that the screen is just is not as transparent

I have my Evo 3d finally and am planning on acquiring this case later on today. Could you tell me one last thing; do the camera protectors (on the case) interfere with taking pictures/recording video in a negative fashion as recent concerns on the net may have pointed out?

Don't they know the most missed feature on the EVO is the kickstand?  To not build one in the case is...well...shortsighted.

Does this case make the EVO 3d considerably thicker and/or less appealing than with the case off? I know that Otterboxes are extremely durable and tough but I don't want a primary case that turns off my phone's appeal if you get my meaning. ;)

@FLteenm1a1 It adds a little thickness, but it does not make it unmanageable. It is def thinner than the evo 4G otterbox case that had the crappy plastic kickstand.

@mail2n yes. I wish I had touched that in my review. there is a tab that locks the clip all the way open on the hoslter, this acts as a kickstand. then you can put the phone in screen facing out.
