  • I have an '1 Fat Bob, I drilled the baffles out and it made a WORLD of difference. It didn't sound like I was riding an electric bike anymore. I bought B&H 2-1's but they sent e the wrong ounting bracket so I never got around to putting them on.

  • @pacman81 an '11 Fat Bob**

  • What size/model of the thunder monster do you have? I also have a fat bob, and i like the design of the stock pipes, but it sounds kinda lame :P

  • @TheBearious - they're the 2" I think?

  • really love that sound ,, AWESOME man !!!

  • Great way to take advantage of the nice stock "TommyGun" Exhaust! It sounds even better than the Vance&Hines.

  • freakin awesome sound! wow!

  • did you take out all of the baffle including the fiber glass packing?

  • @tmillerr90 - yep. Nothing except for the chrome part of the muffler is left.

  • how did you remove the stock baffles?

  • um putting the baffles back in just keeps it quiet if u want a nice sound and also a hp gain put a 2-1 pipe on it preferably a thunderheader sounds better and more hp

  • hello very nice sound and nice video quality you have references Thunder Monsters in BCT

Dessole I go through a translator French English

    cordially

  • I also have a mustang seat (without back rest) on my Fat Bob. I'm 6'2 and found that the mustang seat sat me back more then the stock. I'm thinking about putting apes on mine so that I can sit back a more and sit more straight up.

  • Sounds great. I have a similar setup on my ultra classic. I have BUB 7 duals with the baffles removed and BCT QQ baffles in the head pipes. Nice deep throaty sound. I should post a vid.

  • Great Video 100% Thanks .... going to buy same !

  • so removing the baffle will increase its power?

  • @mastax1234 no, just louder

  • how does the bike run now.

  • Great sound, I'd like to get my to sound like that. Can you share how you accomplished it. Thanks...

  • @ElMatatanNY Go to Big City thunder's website and order some for your bike and install them.. Its that easy...

  • thats a bike to be proud of :)

  • I like the way your bike sounds over the stock pipes. I have an 09 Fat Bob and want to do the same to it. Can you tell me what exactlly you had to do to the pipes and what part numbers you used? Thanks

    Gordon

  • @Gellis1

I have the exact same baffles in my 09 fatbob. All you have to do is drill out the stock baffles with a 1.25" hole saw.

  • nice bike.. I also have a fatbob. What seat do you have installed and do you like it

  • Mustang 16" wide vintage solo with driver backrest. can't imagine riding without it.

  • I have the same seat on my FXDF. I too won't ride without it!

I don't enjoy being pushed off the Bike at 65 mph into a head wind. I also put Running Boards on it, what a nice addition! V.

  • @bklanecky I need to get me one of these seats...

Does it maintain your seating possition compaired to the stock or push you forward or shift you backwards?

  • @miragedabeast - sorry for the delay. It pushed me forward a little bit. I never ride with the backrest in the seat any more though; I feel it promotes poor riding habits so I don't use it.

  • Sounds good, check out my Harley's in my video's They both have Big City thunder Baffles in them.with bubbs , and the other with vance&hines

  • Much better!

  • Sounds much better!
