Nice video, but theres something bugging me, Acer released a new computer a while back and i've been looking at it heres the specs:

@NCONiall GT 230 is a low power card. It has 1.5gb of DDR2, basically the equivalent of a 9600GT if you're lucky. It's a piece of shit card, so not much power is needed.

@KamilB1995 Nope dunno about overheating, if you play GTA IV maxed out for about 4 hours staight then it might overheat, I dunno I never played IV that long on the PC version, mainly playing GTA IV on the console version due to the hackers on the PC lol.

@NCONiall Well I got all of the trophy in your case achievements for GTA IV in singleplayer I gave up on the multiplayer since not that many play now and the server glitches so sometimes the data doesn't get saved and you loose all your progress

Thats good, and yeah GTA4 isn't that easy to run so don't think you cant get 50 fps in crysis because you only get 30 in gta.

No 4 wouldn't even lower it that much but it's nice to have a lot of ram because it makes your computer all around faster for browsing files and rendering things but often ram is pretty cheap so thats what makes it ok to have tons of it.

Yes you should be able to run it the same way I do because the system requirements say you only need 1.5GB of RAM.

It's not a very easy game to run but yes you would probably be able to run it at medium or low graphics detail. In order to run GTAIV on highest detail smoothly you would probably need a pretty good rig. I'm not even running the game at max detail in this video.

Also, does screen resolution affect the framerate quite a bit? Because I'd probably be playing at 1024x768.

I am running the game on all high settings but I have my water detail set to very high. Surprisingly the resolution doesn't matter very much in this game but you will see a difference if you run the game in the highest resolution.

Yeah go with more ram like around 6 or 8gb and get a quad core or if you can afford it a i7 processor and you will be set.
