Very impressive. I love your starts, especially "Red", "Yellow", "Blue" and this one. I'll have to give it a try. It seems some of your paintings are in oil and some in acrylic. Are the washy starts with water and acrylic or can/do you do the same with oil and turp?
Don't be intimidated by the liquids used to carry the pigment just play around and sketch from life and you will at worst have some fun... have a go and let me know if you can see techniques applicable to both mediums....
