Hopefully one day my baby boy writes something like this, I'll try to keep him away from my music and wait hoping he likes metal and dark electro music like mummy and dad do!:D. Right now I don't want to influenciate him much (I did when I was preggo though).., so he doesn't get bored of it :D
with certain headphones/earbuds there is a large section of the song just flat out missing. doesn't matter if it's HQ version or not. I put in my shitty old sony earbuds and it sounds great. But with my newer Sennheiser's it sounded really weird and empty.
@Varsuvias Why does it matter? Religion has nothing to do with it. Religion can corrupt. If VnV nation has taught me anything it's this: To go with your heart, go with what it says, not what society wants you to do.
@MaRsHmElLoWmAnZ When has religion ever been something society has wanted you to do? You have to shun society if you believe in religion and it's all about doing what your heart tells you to do. However, that has nothing to do with my question, I was just asking because I was curious and I didn't think it sounded true.
I can't say that you're losing me but I must be that which I am though I know where this could take me no tears no sympathy gracefully, respectfully facing conflict deep inside myself but here confined losing control of what I could not change gracefully, respectfully I ask you please don't worry, not for me don't turn your back don't turn away I can't say that you're losing me I always tried to keep myself tied to this world but I know where this is leading please no tears no sympathy
I asked myself was I content with the world that I once cherished did it bring me to this darkened place to contemplate my perfect future? I will not stand nor utter words against this tide of hate losing sight of what and who I was again I'm so sorry if these seething words I say impress on you that I've become anathema of my soul I can't say that you're losing me I always tried to keep myself tied to this world but I know where this is leading please no tears no sympathy
la musique et le chant existe depuis très longtemps déjà et pourtant ce groupe me porte et me transporte dans un univers ou l'on se bien . Merci à VNV NATION:
It's kind of funny and ironic: I've been listening to VNV nation for the last year, and found out that my Dad has been listening to them for the last eight years or so. I asked if he'd heard of them, to which he laughed in my face, and showed me their entire CD collection, as well as their concert DVD.
Well my friend, you should check out Engelmacher, Grendel, God Module, YADE, Rotersand, KMFDM, Dawn of Ashes, Ashbury Heights, Angels and Agony, Hocico, Tactical Sekt, and Wumpscut... Just to name a few. :)
@ZMoreland04 That's pretty awesome. I've been listening to them probably about as long as your dad has. I'm 30 and remember buying their first album nearly 15 years ago. What other artists does your dad listen to of this genre?
@Voilavoila, not sure how underground they are every vnv concert ive been to was pretty massive and always sold out. most industrial, ebm, jungle and so forth in general is hard to find in certain areas. San Fran ftw i guess <3
@dethmetelchik Agreed. I have been to 3 VNV Shows here in the states. Detroit, Colorado Springs, And Denver. If you didn't have tickets already printed out you weren't getting in the show. Oh and who wants to go see Covenant with me in Chicago on Saturday!?
I don't think VNV should be aired at all... I'm glad it's underground and if it was mainstream then it wouldn't have that nice edge and all the futurepop/ebm fans would be pretty peeved.
On the contrary. It's been repeatedly cited as one of the most famous electro bands in existence. By the time their second album came out, they had all but completely lost their "underground" status. It's been both mainstream and very commercially successful for a long time now. They're a legend.
Well now my opinion has sort of been swayed, I do think that VnV Nation Needs to put alot of their best tracks onto the airwaves more then they are trying, only enough to catch peoples ear not completely convert them. Because if they did what Linkin Park did (And totaly screw up after Meteora) then they will lose my interest. However my Opinions foundations remain unshaken- They should indeed Make a push to the airwaves and push people out of that wretched genre they call "music"(rap dare i say)
Unfortunately, no, but I like to think I made up for it this time around by being close enough to the stage to shake Ronan's and Mark's hands after the show. Losing my hearing for the next day was a small price to pay for an experience like that.
No, it's gone for some reason. Someone else said that it wasn't "mono compatible"; I'm guessing YouTube doesn't have stereo sound, and consequently this song sounds a little strange. Dunno why it's only this song though.

how many VNV Nation songs do you see on the american billboard?...answer 0...
lol even Cruxshadows had 3 #1 singles on the american charts and they're an underground act in america.
you're confusing what your scene likes which is like 1% of america to what 99% of the country listens to... lol
