0:00 - 0:19 and 3:04 - 3:35 had such great beats. I would've loved it had this song used those loops for the entire song and if it didn't have the weird voiceover interruptions added in. Kind of ruined the cool groove. :-|
Interesting. The main track itself Is okay, But the the track sounds very unprofessional, The speech samples are kinda dumb. And Its very poorly eq'ed and almost a little distorted sounding :/
Sounds very much LIKE Thomas Bangalter's "Spinal Scratch" -- and his mix of "Gym Tonic" and "Rock Shock".
Unfortunately stone stupid Bob Sinclar released "Gym Tonic" w/o clearing the Jane Fonda samples... so she sued (of course). "Gym Tonic" went over huge in the clubs -- and would have made everyone a nice chunk of money if only the sample had been cleared BEFORE release -- that or replace with sound alike. Only people who made any money off "Gym Tonic" were the lawyers.
it sounds a bit like daft punk on crack. . . But I think it's not daft. . . Anyways, it's hella funny. But daft used a part of this song in one of their set. . . I don't remember in wich one. . .
It's by someone called DJ Fistfunk who released it as a Napster Prank back in 2000. The file was marked as "daft punk (new album 2000 promo) - pierre stupide" to get people to download it.
it is only thomas bangalter guys, manuel did not touch this
as so many people are forget the facts, thomas is a crazy dj mixer, as manuel sometimes painting at home crazy things and see the not too new example : electroma movie
They were created by some house DJ who wanted people to download his stuff as a big joke. he or she putted in the internet some weeks before the release of Discovery, so case close. we already know Vietnam is not by them.
I can believe that this is real. Sounds very much like some of Bangalter's solo work (especially Spinal Scratch and Gym Tonic) amd Le Knight Club's work.
anyone know what song this was sampled from?

It was meant to be on the album apparently but due to it sounding completely different to the other material the company told them to leave it out.

This actually sounds alot like Daft Punks early work. Any moron who thinks it doesn't sound like Daft Punk doesn't know what they are talking about.

Sound a little like some Kanye West was thrown in there.
ThaExpress2609 3 years ago
It's probably not a real Daft track, but whoever made it came pretty close to their sound.

Too bad they inserted all of those batshit samples.
