@Ojedaigor You can flower them whenever you want, just how big do u want the plant to be? All u have to do is set its light cycle to 12 on and 12 off. But it must be in complete darkness for the 12 hours off.

@Bobdenver1 it stunts growth when you bud it. grow it to the size you want and switch light cycles. if you "stunt" the growth you are gonna get shitty bud. or you can top it like it shows in this vid and grow out instead of up. your not gonna get caught if its one plant your doing.

There's no limit to how many times you can top it, as long as the plant survives, but I can't see a reason to do it unless you want it bushier. Anyway, I noticed some problems in your setup.

A: You shouldn't have a fan pointed at your plant.

B: It looks like your PH is slightly off.

C: That plant is suffering from minor nutrient burn or deficiency.

Once you solve these problems, your branches and leaves will point up and out, not droop down, and they will be a brighter shade of green.

@jtmill077 That depends on where you live and if your a legal grower , if your not legal that makes it a little harder to find seeds you can ask your dealer if he/she has any seeds laying around or try the internet i know people that have grown some great cannabis for seed the got off the net but what i would do is find some one who grows and ask if you can have / buy some clones

In a since yes it will help increase your yield , When you top your plant 2 new shoots will grow each time you top, giving you more branches for buds to grow on and i will be making a cloning video real soon, im just waiting for my plants to get a little bigger

No , topping wont make the buds them self bigger .Producing big buds all depends on your lighting , soil , temp Ect... Also some plants just don't produce huge buds , All cannabis stains are different so if your plant don't have huge buds don't worry that your doing something wrong it could just be that type of plant

its really only help to top your plant if you don't have much vertical space to grow with or to make your plant split into two stocks instead of the normal one stock witch will give you two top buds instead of the normal one top bud
