I agree. Lenin had a lot of great ideas and did some good things for Russia and the Russian people (though it would have been nice e.g. to let the Church continue on its trajectory of reform). Stalin, however, was a mass murderer who was responsible for the deaths of millions upon millions of innocent Soviet people, even including Soviet war vets (and foreign POWs). I'm always shocked to see him portrayed and praised in these video montages on YouTube. He was *bad* for the USSR and they knew it.

How can one support lennin and stalin at the same time? Stalin trespassed against virtually everything lennis stood for, as lennin recognized himself and tried to correct. When Lenin died, it took concerted action by Stalin and others to suppress Lenin's thoughts on the matter, conveyed by his wife and his writings (held by his wife). Communism is terrible, but Lenin was at least somewhat decent, naive, but that's better than Stalin's concerted efforts to suppress freedom.

@SSPanzerKommandant Hitler and Stalin were allied before WWII. If Stalin hated the Nazis, the Luftwaffe wouldn't have been as grand, thus Allied Powers would have had air superioirity over Goering meaning Germany would have achieved less and less lives would have been lost.
