I think the trick is to pretend that you're always speaking to a group of precocious Kindergartners. Always smiling, always enthusiastic, always reassuring, with a higher tone of voice than normal. Basically, I hate all kinds of sweets. So, I don't drink juice or anything with carbonic acid.
