  • WHOA !

    APPRECIATIVE.

  • Meltphace!

  • I love Bartok. I find him under-rated, you just gotta give him a chance!

  • they are "pulling" those strings wow

  • Bartok gets better the more you listen---He sounds harsh to people who are looking for comforting repetitious patterns, but to people who are willing to hear, there are some amazing things to discover in his music. He was decades ahead of his time. True genius all the way. Love the cluster patterns he has going thru the 3rd mvt---and the 4th is my favorite---love the pizzicato.

  • What painting is that?

  • @ianfred It's "The Weeping Woman" by Picasso :)

  • Who is performing this?

  • @captainrabbit22 Non Troppo Lento ( 3 ) and ( 4 ) Allegro pizzicato

  • Thanks for this postage. The most engaging quartets of the 20th century - Bartók and Shostakovich. And quite a few others as well.

  • This music is so ispiring.

  • Beautiful, thank you for your notes.

  • He sure knows how to copy and paste! :D

  • Yes. yes. I admit that it is from wikipedia. It would take me forever to write out the programme notes, and frankly, wikipedia does have some good info. :)
