Damn... what happened to wrestling when it took skill to keep yourself from being taken to the ground. Stupid "backflip" out of a single leg. In my eyes he should have never gotten the single in the first place. Also, if you're shooting for a single and the person has time to back flip on you, you didn't execute your single properly. Your pick and elevate should all be one movement. Not pick, hold on for a few seconds, then slowly elevate.

Pick, and elevate as high as you can as fast as youcan

That is so very fake. No attempt to hold his leg at all. He was hopping on his leg for a while to be in position for the flip then when he goes over the guy helps him.

When you have a controll of a single leg like that, you elevate it so that your opponent loses balance.

This wrestler sensed his opponent begining to elevate the leg and used the added force to aid in the backflip.

I prefered the front flip out of this situation, regardless. If you landed it in the right position, a lateral drop was in the mix if your opponent tried to pursue you to the mat.

This isn't a real HS match. They don't have another wrestler refing the matches in HS. Also I've seen this move done but they never land it. Finally the kid with the single leg didn't hook the foot. He looks like a decent wrestler by his shot so he should know to hook the foot once he has the single leg.
