I'm debating on whether getting the SG EX or GX, but can't decide whether I want EMGs or Gold Fingers. Anyone know what the major difference between the two. I know Wylde used the EMGs, but the GX has such a nice finish and still sounds great.

get something on ebay, i got a custom SG-400 (the one with 3 PU) but it came with 2 PU and a full SG pickguard. swapped the pickups for dimarzios and my god it sounds better than my BFG les paul(its a piece of shit) -.-

not to mention that it has the custom block inlays <3 payed 175 for the guitar and 50 for the dimarzio evo bridge pickup. EMG's sound too.. digital for me. im more into rich natural harmonics that emg's will NEVER touch. =/ and i play metal (btbam, CoB, suicide silence. etc etc)

Not bad playing at all, but oh god dude, you have to play it in tune next time. The technical skill on the solo was great but it sounded like you randomly turned the machine heads a few times in various directions before you attempted to play it.
