When i started, my avg was like 6 minutes...lol really! 4 is not so bad. Get a decent cube and practice..your times will come down. What method are you using? Beginners or Fridrich or other?

That's really good. I finally got my avg down to about a minute 40. My best is 1 min 10. Using fridrich/F2L also. With beginners only, i could not break the 2min mark.
