he is a nasal singer who just got lucky. ali zafar is a much better singer than atif aslam. atif has no 'sur' or 'saaz' in his voice. his voice is throaty which comes off great when he sings and thats it. no real talent, i'm afraid. as far as Bol is concerned, all he did in the movie was take his GF's brother to that paint dock and pick him up. then he sang two songs with Mahira and thats it.

his role in Bol was what an item number is for bollywood movies.

lolz.....you're too naive. you have a LOT of growing up to do. the examples you gave are of his popularity, and did not deny that he is not popular. but as a singer, he's not all that he's cracked up to be, or how the world thinks of him. popularity has nothing to with authenticity of somebody's talent...e.g. justin beiber...that kid is very popular. but can he sing? probably after LOADS of rehearsals and practice for at least ten years.
