Why does everyone seem to think this piece should be performed so bloody slowly? The score says "Legato, moderato (72-76)". This is not a slow tempo...!
stephen layton is taking it quiker than he would normally choose to in order to keep the choir better in tune..... if you listen to his recording with his professional choir (polyphony), im sure you will find the tempo much more desirable....
One of those women sounds like Sarah Brightman.

abit rushed but still great.... i couldn't care if the song is too fast or slow as long as the voice is great
