  • I learned from this guy

    10 months progression: /watch?v=4OYCM3kOHWQ

  • this guy saved my liquid style haha

  • Mighty to Save?

  • Thx man

  • /watch?v=4OYCM3kOHWQ This guy incorporates footwork, which makes it look a little cooler

  • Nice usage of the light (if it was on purpose^^) the shadow on your hand lets me know when my hands are on top of eachother :) Proper english, calm voice and no histyrical background music or examples where you mostly see moves u didnt explain just to show off :)

  • dude, your fucking osim.

  • lol @ the comments.. anyway +1 for such a clear and well done video, finally something that actually teaches the technique effectively. Have been attempting this type of dance for years, but feel that I need to closely watch the specific moves individually and practice to get better, just what you created here, thanks bro! (plur)

  • @Gilvad0 hey thanks for that heads up :) Maybe I'll make a better tutorial soon as this one is really old and after talking to many people like yourself who have been trying to learn liquid I've hopefully gotten a little more insight as to how people learn liquid better. Thanks again :)

  • i love this video!!! =)

  • @nate4juggle because God doesn't exist. Duh.

  • this is tight

  • Why can't a raver have Christian music OR be Christian?

  • @Nate4juggle Because the rave scene was designed around the idea that you be yourself and not follow others. Christianity is not compatible with raving because you're following the crowd and following jesus, not doing things how YOU want to especially if you do drugs at raves.

  • @009jorge1 I think you need to take a step back and think about what you're saying. The reason there even is a 'scene' is because people have a deep fundamental desire to connect with others, even when expressing individuality. People are complex, and if he feels a connection with the principles, beliefs, or community of Christianity, he can experience that without it conflicting with his individuality.

  • @Gilvad0 CONNECTION with people, the scene wasn't made for people to FOLLOW others.

  • @009jorge1 And yet you're commenting on a video where one person tries to teach others. Christians can maintain their own individual beliefs, they can study, discuss, connect, and learn from others. No one sect has a mandate on the nature of their belief. Suggesting that literally billions of people are incapable of thinking for themselves and only follow others is absurd. The scene wasn't 'made', it came about, like all communities do, around shared beliefs. Connection, and acceptance.

  • @Gilvad0 Lol, billions of people are incapable of thinking for themselves.

What does the government say? Sleep 8 hours, work 8 hours, have fun 8 hours, time to do it over again.

That looks like mindlessness to me.

  • Hey that music is 100% sure mighty to save !!!! thanks for the vid man helped me alot

  • floasis??

  • Yup

  • woooot.

  • Totally noticed the music used in the back ground. 5 Stars

  • I'ma add this to my pop locking/b boy style thanks for the vid :)

  • Rudimentary concepts upon which almost the entire fluidity of the Liquid style of dance are built on.

You look like you have the propensity to be a good (smooth) liquid dancer...got anything showcasing how good you are?

  • I've studied all three videos, this is an awesome tutorial!

I would like to suggest one thing though - it would've been helpful to mention that the fold can be done not only with the leading hand on top, but also on the bottom, therefore creating a continuous flowing motion when you alternate them (i.e. not just going back and forth).

    Thanks again! :)

  • I learned shuffle now I want to learn this :)

  • hah same and i try teckonik, crip walk and jumping...

    street dances ftw!

  • Dude, are you a christian?

  • yup

  • dude,

btw the handsflow is too easy for me.

but i got a problem to combine it with my footwork. can u make the tutorial for it?

    thx man.

  • CADE O CHINELO ?

  • hektic :D

  • Is the background music called "Mighty To Save"???

  • yup :)

  • scheweet!

  • @HgItch it sounds so sad and dramatic in contrast with your mellowness lol

    nice tut

  • great tutorial.. im a shuffler so that a nice way to improve my style^^ check my vid;)

    5*

  • @6ur6enFanatic we should all learn as many styles as possible, the skills translate to make all your moves better, and it helps you think of new things.

also, liquid translates directly to glowsticking :-) i've thought of sewing elastic bands to hold glowsticks on the bottom of some phatpants to showcase the shuffle, i dunno if that would be lame or not lol

  • @6ur6enFanatic hardstyle?

  • @MadCheesecake Yeah Hardstyle.

  • @6ur6enFanatic -hi five-

  • well impressed.......nice one

  • These tibetan monks are known for their liquid-like smooth behavior

  • What a fcking horrible tut.

    JK JK JK

    AWESOME SKILLZ thanx for teachin^^

  • The music is funny....

    RONALDO

  • the music is funny

  • i can't get the fold. D:

can you make another vid doing it REALLY slowly? >_>

    amazing tutorial though. thanks.

  • this is basicly advanced tutting?

  • nah it's just some basic liquid. Although if you can get creative with it you can apply concepts of both to the other :)

  • o i like it ill practice it

  • how do you get your hands so smooth? is there a workout for that?

  • @LOOPLADE

Dude... lol.... Liquid and tutting aren't very similar... Idk how you get that confused unless your new to both styles of dance. People incorporate wave hand movements in tutting but not all this liquid lol.

  • @KelaBeats while liquid and tutting are two different styles; the "flow" concepts used in both styles IMO are very similar to produce the fluid and symmetric movements. fu man chu, dstrange, or tut master are good examples. liquid is basically wave movements using hands, wrists, elbow, any part of the body really.

  • @daehtnulb

Yes they're wave movements. Tutting is all about angles and lines. From I see and hear about liquid, is about waves.. obivously. I guess the "flow" is similar. But if you put a turf fienz next to a few solid liquid dancers. it's not ugnna look the same except for maybe some gliding. Which is still different styles from each other. Just sayin. I like both styles regardless.

  • @KelaBeats turfing and liquid are much less similar than tutting and liquid, but yes they all are different. i also like both styles as well as many other funk, house, anything on beat. but yeah if you notice good tutters and liquidheads usually have continuity with their flow, btw nice glides dude

  • @daehtnulb

Oh yah i deff agree on the flow. haha thanks man. Kinda sketchy. I was gunna make a new vid today but I have no idea where my camera is >.<

  • This is so weird. When I follow the steps I can't do it, but when I just try to do it, it works! @.@

  • very helpful tutorial i subscribed

  • Sigh my left hand is a piece of shit.... why is this so hard T-T

But hey i guess oractise will make it purfect ;p

  • You'll get it, it took me at least an hour or two of practicing the hand motion before I got it.. Now it's being creative with it's that difficult. Make sure you practice BOTH directions.. I can only do the flow in one direction because I didn't do that as much as I should have :S. Pretty much have to relearn everything for the other side now since I didn't practice both sides parallel.

  • why is that little hand motion so hard to do. i dont under stand lol

  • la liquid mi fa impazzire...poi miskiarla cn l house è perfetto...sbavvvvv :P

  • Hillsongs - mighty to save intrumental as background Hahaha ! nice GB

  • Mm... I started dabbling in it around around 2001 or 2002? I didn't really get serious about it until the end of 2003.

  • is liquid part of street dance?

like popping and locking and hip hop and breaking etc..?

  • dunno u can use it for many things, do you know something about liquid raving?!

  • nope but heard of it.

  • watch some videos on youtube and you know what liquid is good for ^^

  • yes

    Great video as well :)

  • Nice, tks. I recognise this song, it's 'Mighty To Save' isn't it?

  • great..dhx dude!;)

  • Amazing tutorial, thanks =] =]

  • i mastered level one 100% time for me to move up lol yesss!!!

  • mad hard lmao

  • luxury.. thanks

  • Gotta be the best tutorial, cuz he actually walks you through it instead of showing off and taking the time to explain it. The music also makes it better so you feel more relaxed practicing it instead of trying to get with the pace of techno/trance and what not.

  • really helped thanks

  • that is sick, nice
