I say this because MG is an abbreviation for Maschinegewehr 1934/1942, and translated to English it means "Machinerifle model 1934 or 1942".

@Warfrae it makes it easier to jam the other four rounds into the mag by giving the loader leverage on the rims which are the only point the rounds contact the stripper clip, on most rifles this loads the gun like a knife through butter

@Warfrae it is how heavy the magazine is, a full magazine is heavy and an almost empty magazine is light, that is how the magazines "feel" because you cant see the amount of bullets in the magazine

I wish the SVT-40 could be reloaded like the G41 is in this game, since more often than not that's how Soviet soldiers reloaded their SVTs. (source, "Soviet Rifleman - 1941-1945") maybe in Heroes of Stalingrad!

one thing i want to know: when you reload with say, half the rounds still left in the mag, does the operator still pull the bolt back?

and, can you reload all the weapons if they still have some rounds left in them?

@Triple25mm yes if theres bullets left he takes out the magazine and loads this magazine with the same amount of bullets later like in reality , on reload he takes the mags with the highest amount of bullets first, i never noticed if he pulls the bolt back or not

@aznwolf106 He exchanged their overheated barrels. In real machine guns, if the barrel is not heavy enough, it can easily overheat due to ammo's low quality and things like that. When the barrel is overheated, there is a high possibility of the mg's jamming and losing accuracy. Therefore, it is obligatorial to change barrels after some time of long fire barriage. And that is what he did.

@sillentassasian But that- together with water inside- is an extra weight which makes the mg unsuitable for a quick movement. That's why most of Light Support Machine Guns are air-cooled with light barrels, which have to be replaceable in case of overheating.

Finaly i found a game with some damn realistic weapons !!! And its even a WW2 game yeah! You should do a side by side comparison of weapons from this game and Call of Duty to make it look like a stupid kids game like it is!

And the sounds....i love them.

Please tell me about the bullet ballistics are they realistic to?

@jovanm91 Sorry for the late comment, but IMO Call of Duty could've been a good series if it sticked to WW2 and the gameplay of the first release. I can still play the first CoD and have fun with a bolt rifle, and there are no red or green names on top of players. The maps are so much better too, you can actually snipe without some stupid ninja shit and kung-fu knives.

@arm1207 i know the PPk and a other version of the mauser C96 it was the only pistols in world war 2 at the german side but they used the luger P08 to 1942 and then they replaised it with walther P38.
