  • Angels playing cards and smoking Lucky Strikes!

  • @TheWheeze100

That image is from the classic "Black Sabbath" album, "Heaven and Hell". The first with frontman, His Majesty Ronnie James Dio. I know that "...Rocker" knows this, but if YOU do not... then relagate yourself to the "Nickleback" or "Blink182" pages with your tiny, infant-self!

  • @Paganguy1 Quite right my pagan friend!!! Nice rock lesson!!! LOL ~ `Rocker

  • @highwayrobberyrocker

Yes! Excellent use of that image, BTW!!!! Works perfectly for this song! Ah, "...Rocker" You are a wonder!

  • @Paganguy1 Ahhh Thank you my friend!!!! These are made for people like YOU!!! ~ `Rocker

  • @Paganguy1 nope....just saying how cool that pic is. I know I had seen it somewhere before. Bought Love it to Death and the first Sabbath album when they were released waaaay back. Still have them both actually. Gosh those were works of art, and still are!

  • @TheWheeze100 It would be nice to walk upon the water,..talk again to angels by my side.

  • @highwayrobberyrocker Sun Arise!!!! Thanks for posting this!

  • we need to leave something tangible

  • @justkevy Sorry I missed your meaning,..LOL!!!

  • Great job dude

  • @AlexNeilEzell Many thanks!!!! ~ `Rocker

  • Marylin Manson TRIED to be as creepy as Alice... came close... but really the Master of creepy, is ALICE... and the Master of making Alice images/videos is "Highwayrobberyrocker"

    Again, I salute you, sir!

  • @Paganguy1 Thanks Bro,..You Rock,..Appreciate that comment more that you can imagine!!!! Marilyn does a fine job being an imitation shocker,...I kind of like some of his stuff,.. He does a great version of Sweet Dreams,..better than the original.

  • @Paganguy1 Amen to that

  • @Paganguy1 marylin manson isnt as entertaining either so yeah.

  • @90zosoman09

Yeah! ALICE did these great, like Brodway shows. SO, yeah more entertaining is ALICE "Welcome to my Nightmare" tour was INCREDIBLE!!! Then, years later, supporting the "Raise yer Fist and Yell" album, he did the "New Nightmare". I would lose my FRICKIN' mind when he would rock out with the "Billion Dollar Babies" Yes MUCH more entertaining....

  • This is my anthem right now. I spent 2 nights in intensive care and 5 days in the mental ward for attempting suicide last week.

  • @bagofvomit Why so serious?????? Not worth taking your life and missing out on all that life has to offer,..If something sucks ,...don't do it,...there are a myriad of possibilities,..chose another ~ `Rocker

  • @highwayrobberyrocker

Why so serious!!!! I assume that is a Joker reference.... Heath Ledger, the best Joker, ever, frankly....outside of "Batman the Animated Series" (Mark Hamill, "Luke Skywalker" from the "Star Wars" you kids love these days, did his voice... amazing... you can hardly tell it's him!)

    What were we talking about?

  • @Paganguy1 Hahahahaha,..Why yes it was!!!! Cool stuff dude!!!

  • @bagofvomit try changing yur utube name or sumtin dude... i mean look at yurself different, maybe you will act different... just sayin..

  • PS...GnR got boo'd off stage at that show...thanks louisville ky...

  • alice was my first show, 86, with GnR, but i had grown up with him all of my life. dwight fry is that song that everyone has, that speaks to them...well, thats mine. but i also like the live versions better than the earlier recorded...i like that GRRRRR sound, not the high-pitched whiny version, sorry alice lol..but its also hard to find live videos with the last verse...any ideas?

  • Love the production and neals drum sound! the band is tight

  • i used to listen to alice in m y brand new '72 datsun p/u with a high tech quadraphonic eight track stereo.......to this day Alice still rocks........

  • @mikcor00 Yes, Alice is timeless, but not antiquated like that stereo,..LOL,..Thanks for your comment ~ `Rocker

  • I like the story line you describe but you haven't included all of Stevens appearances through out Alice's work,.Thanks for this and Keep enjoying the Coop!!!! ~ `Rocker

  • Steven is Dwight Fry as a child. He grew up in a home with abusive religious fanatics as parents (Years Ago) and it gave him a Messiah Complex, believing he is the Second Coming. While in a mental institution (Ballad of Dwight Fry) he begins to relive his past as a series of nightmares (Welcome to my Nightmare) seeing the people he has killed, including children (Ballad, Steven).

Just my interpretation of the four songs. I think these two songs are great lead ins to WtmN and From the Inside.

  • @RowdyRodimus quite an imagination u got..lol

  • this song drives me absolutly insane and i dont know why it just makes me want to get out of my own house so i get up and go. rock on people.

  • to me this is by far his best album......fuckin classic....that band he had back then where awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @toodazegone1965 One of my favorite LP's my Alice, this and Killer!! ~ `Rocker

  • OMG!! I am so THRILLED to see there are still so many, many cooper fans still out there..this was excellent!..He really IS a genius and there will NEVER be another entertainer like AlICE!!!.....Thank u highwayrobberyrocker..saved to my favorites!

  • @55sharbrum Thanks I appreciate your comment and your views, I have made a vid of at least 1 song of 25 of Alice's studio LP's in tribute to his greatness. Enjoy ~ `Rocker

  • @highwayrobberyrocker ...had to come back again tonight and watch this a few more times :)..oh yes i enjoy...

  • I photographed Alice in 75 and 77. To see the shots go to 70srockphotos (.com)

  • Always Classic!

  • RIP glen

  • After listening to Alice for more then 25 years, I can say this without a doubt....the man has very little ego, appreciates everything he has always known that he is where he is because of me and you.....gotta love that about the guy...and oh yea...listen to his songs closely....he is a christian. A true genius...cant believe it took him so long to get into the HOF

  • @Dys1970 Well said Friend, Long live the Coop!!!

  • @Dys1970 ...got u beat...been listening 41 years ..lol..always good to hear great comments from cooper fans!...

  • @Dys1970

You said, "he is a xistian..."... Well! Ha. Let's not get too hasty, here. I was in the Church when Marylin was chosen as Anton LeVay's successor. Alice was none too pleased, niether was Ozzy, or Tonni Iommi. He married a big tittied, xistian woman, that wanted him to be a xistian, so he he said, , "OK. Sure why not..."

He is not a xristian. Just an alcoholic that wants to have sex with a big tittied xristian woman. He's a member of The Church....

  • @Paganguy1 I had thought he was pagan with the lyrics..However he claims to be christian in person. Can you substanciate your claim?

  • @Dys1970 Yes, Vincent (Alice) is a Christian!

Google: A satanist? No, I run a Bible group! Alice Cooper on his REAL life

  • Alice is my hero, I was born in 1987. He started everything when it came to shock rock

  • @jindigger GOD you make me feel old...I saw him the first time in 1986......My favorite concert of all time. "The Nightmare Returns" Even though it was in the nose bleed seats. I loved every second of that concert, and I've seen a lot of people. If you get the chance, go and see him....it is a phenomenal time

  • I wonder if Alice likes or dislikes or just appreciates the Melvins cover of Second Coming and Ballad of Dwight Fry.

    Does anyone know???

  • @HumanitarianAryan Alice is so use to being imitated and emulated, I'm sure it doesn't phase him in the least. He being the man he is, I'm sure he feels flattered to some extent. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

  • @HumanitarianAryan im a big Alice fan, been so for the best part of 30 years, got all the albums, seen his show many, many times. i like the Melvins, their version of "halo of flies" is pretty cool too.

i think Alice would just see it as paying respect to him, and why not? there are so many bands/artists that respect Alice,

and so they should, as should we.

Alice Cooper is indeed, a visionary.

so way ahead of his time its scary when you think about it.

  • excellent post - thank you!

  • @ozzmanson Excellent, Fave it and watch it often,...`Rocker

  • Love It To Death was my first Alice Cooper purchase back in about 1971. I wore my vinyl copy out...back in those days audio cassettes had not caught-on quite yet or I would have backed it up on tape. Great band, great music, great shows, great times.

  • @SilverHamer did the same dude! Rock on!

  • Thanx for this but could someone pls tell me - in the pic with the "Bitch" t-shirt, which one is Neal & which is Glen? - it's been driving me mad ever since I got the

    elected t-shirt

  • @theruskinarms from left to right it's Glen, Dennis, Alice, Michael, Neal: Spells G-DAMN,,, LOL

  • @highwayrobberyrocker Thank you, I kept deciding one way then the other...if only they'd stand next to each other all would've become clear!

  • What happened to good music? Cuz this is it right here.

  • zipper catches skin!!!!

  • @jindigger bet that hurt, Love It to death.

  • I remember getting this album brand new for $1.79 at Woolworths, taking it home, and dropping a hit of Orange Sunshine and listening to it under the glow of black light and candles. Every note & word was so profound (not just because of the acid...well, maybe...that & my age at the time...18), but knowing who Dwight Fry was, having an Uncle in the Looney Bin for a similar crime, all bit so deep. Just the right touch (in the head). Thank you, Alice, and Happy Birthday!

  • hmm the one dislike must have come from someone with ADD and couldn't handle a 10 minute song

  • Hey Rocker, Loved the mini-film, What two Awesome songs I can't believe their that old WOW! As for second Coming I'm sad to say i never heard it before as i was drawn into Alice Cooper's World when "Welcome to my Nightmare" came out I guess it was my love for Famous Monsters of Filmland that drew me to that paticular Album, But as i grew older i started hearing more AC songs i liked & finally seeing him in concert. So my friend thanks for getting me geared up for the concert!!
