Hi Sarock, nice to meet you..Fibromylagia, is not an autoimmune disease, but Arthritis is...you may have a form of Arthritis.my legs have always hurt me, since a young child...back in the 50's,...and once you have one auto immune disorder, chances are you will get many more...Have you had any testing for Genetic Markers and Auto Immune , there is a special blood test for that. It may lay your mind to rest...I hope you find some tx for your Hep C....and a good doctor to run through your options

They have been trying to diagnose me with fibromyalgia with my hep c, 1a, during my tx that had to be aborted, my pain was gone, it is returning. The pain was what got me to do the tx before the new stuff. I am curious as I have not met many people that have the pain in the joints before tx........this is just shedding a new light for me. Will never be able to take the full dose of interferon again due to platelets dropping to 0 becasue of it. Just looking at options, ty for sharing. :)
