Sorry BT goers, but for $400 I'll stay with a Phenom.. the only thing that the TM15 has on the phenom imo is the loader placement - it's not a big thing, but it's nicer to have the weight of the loader right up close to you.. other than that the Phenom takes it :]

Yo I'm getting back into paintball after quite a long hiatus, and I'm thinking of getting this gun. I know you said it's not the best for first time players but I'm dope as fuck, and it looks retarded cool. I know it's terrible, but aesthetics mean a lot to me, if I can rip people apart that's one thing, if I can rip people apart and look tight doing it. That's something completely different. Thanks for the review I think it pushed my verdict over the edge. Looking good as always too haha.

i've never used the tm-15 but i would say the tm-15 is waayyy better than the x-7. I own a BT TM-7 and i love it. From what i hear, this tm-15 is pretty much a tm-7 with a different body, so i assume the gun is as good, if not better than my tm-7. I have 2 friends that own X-7s and they seem to be having nothing but trouble with them

It wasn't necessarily 'changed again' to Battle Tested (BT). It was originally simply Tippmann, and Ben Tippmann broke off of Tippmann and made BT, and took his patents with him (picatinny rails, etc.). But yes, you're right about him designing the M98, 98c, and A5.

Ben Tippmann Paintball was the original name, it was changed to BT Designs after the Tippmann Sports LLC which was bought and owned by an Investment Co. back in 05 filed a suit against Ben Tippmann over some Issues about the Tippmann Name and some other things and as far I can remember, the settlement between both parties was done it private and everything after that...is history.

Not really, because there is one Drawback to the Design that can clearly be seen.

The user of a TM15 is stuck to using a 12" or more barrel, since the Railed Handguard can not be seperated from the body for a shorter Quad Railed Handguard, thus preventing a shorter barrel to be used for those Extreme Close Encounter CQB Kind of Fun in woodsball and scenario games.
