@Fuckin17u i think around 1-2 months and for ure other question. u can put them in a tropical fish tank as long as none of the fish are that big that they'd eat the triops. And i don't think triops will eat other small fish either.

@Bumbliebee6306 Once all your triops die take the sand and let it dry for a few weeks. I put mine in a tin and then left them in the boiler room. By 2 weeks the eggs had dried and I could re hatch them. When rehatching I find you get best results using some of the old tank water, instead of how the kits usually say to use distilled water + the detritus they give you (which sucks lol)

you take the water uot with a cup(dont spill it out youl damege them then dry for couple of week until completely dry

@Mrlongboard4ever it would work, but you still need to keep a smaller tank to keep the hatchlings in. Either that, or you need to start your tank early, with an assload of detritus (making sure the tank stabilizes both in temp and ph levels).

Its just easier to keep them in a small tank, then transfer when theyre older than a week. Less mess, and less crap.

It's pretty boring, its hard to even see a triop go for one and if it does its so fast theres not even anything to see. Sea monkeys are just too small.

The biggest one is there (which isn't the oldest) is about a month old and about just over 5cm long including tail. Lots of people triops grow bigger faster though i think mine grew slower.

You can create your own detritus with dry leaves and stuff. But i actually got much better results using old triops tank water. I also didn't provide it with any artifical light i just left it on the window sill and i actually got about 30 hatchlings from about a few big spoons worth of sand.
