  • why was she executed?

  • she seems rathar relaxed considering whats about to happen

  • @METALLICARULES11 I guess she figured god would protect her from the flames. Either way she died a horrible, painful death. The thought of the pain is enough to make you sick. I would die from fear all in itself. Ahhh gotta love religion

  • I loath the RC church - it's an abomination always has been and always will be. Full of hypocrites and liars. Responsible for some of the cruellest and most foul deeds on people. They went to South America and wiped out the natives there, they caused the Inquisition.

  • Charles should have saved her. She made him King he could have returned the favor by saving her and not having her executed.

  • ignorance displayed in comments here indicate law level of western education.

after she has defeated them repeatedly ,

english ( parasitic scum even then as now), bought her for money from french traitors, and then an english controlled court condemned her and burned her, not catholic church .

the trail transcripts are available, as well as the transcripts nullification trail that overturned the original verdict after english were driven out.

    she is a catholic saint

  • smart actor..

  • whites were such savages back then. LOL

  • @jpowers55 NAH!! It was mainly religion. Religion is fucking poison when it mixes with politics

  • What's the name of the background music used?

  • Its just arogance in there part she gave them france back an they didnt want a peasant girl in power; But like most things the church got it wrong an turned her into a Legend she is more remembered today than the people who sentenced her to the stake. Also remember these people were very easily swayed by the church too they believed what they were saying was the truth of god (strange sounds familar today). Did we learn anything from Joans death ?

  • Would a Devil Worshiper plead to God for help when they're being burned alive?! PROBABLY NOT!! She was a devoted women to God, her screaming for him says it all.

  • poor wee lassie

  • On this day (May 30), 580 years ago, Jehanne la Pucelle was burned alive at the stake in Rouen, France. May her soul be at peace and her memory live forever.

  • she has a golden heart.impossible

  • @sacayind you should read juliet bakers conquest, the english kingdom of france, it shows that the french aristocracy and the dauphin had little support for jehanne, and she accomplished very little, the dauphin actually wanted the english to kill her.... And for your information burgundians are french, just as yorkists are english, point made

  • Dont burn the witch.. they ways of hell arent wrong!! hahah.. she was a devil worshiper... fuck her..

  • dont like the past yeah watch out for the future this shit is not beond humanity yet

  • burn the french witch !!!!

  • @AaronBurhoe no she was accused of witch-craft she could not be charged with treason since she was not a citizen of England. They said only witch craft could have a brought a woman the ability to rally the french in victory over the English.

  • Dumbass NPK sittin' there with his bad haircut.

  • lol she died

  • sorry but all religion is as bad as each other- so don't say the catholic religion is messed up

  • lol

  • religion...

  • And this fuckers liberated condomns like it was a big thing! FUCK YOU VATICAN!! YOU SHALL ALL BURN IN THE PIT!!!

  • wats that song?

  • what did she say when the man brought the cross? I can't hear her

  • historically, she died from heat stroke before the fire even reached her.

  • Im sorry to say it but I hate the catholic church, they murdered thousands of people and tortured them all because they did not believe in christianity. I don't ever remember Jesus saying burn all the heretics. This is why i stay with a nature based religion. At least we don't go around burning people at the stake.

  • @Chevymonster203 you should know that it was the secular court that convicted her.

  • @elysium76 Yeah, a secular court made up mostly of pastors and religious leaders and judged by Cauchon, the chief priest.

  • @elysium76 Through the power of the church. See the what had happened was the seculor church wanted her dead but they had to go through the church. They had absolute power. And because of that they had to make a conviction. In the end she was a relapsed heretic but her death was more of a political one then a religious one. But it's quit interesting that the same church that killed her declared her a saint. Gotta love hypocrisy. But she was a remarkable person. She held to her beliefs

  • @elysium76 However what is even more interesting the Church really had no intention of killing her rather then trying to "save her soul" sorta speak. I am not defending the church however. But her trial was causing impatience. I heard she was beat and raped and was forced to dress as a man. Which caused her to be declaired a relapsed heretic and the law was death by fire. So yes it was the secular authorties who killed her. In the long run. But the church was involved in it's own way

  • @elysium76 It was by concession and autority of the Church but is always hard to say whos to blame the Church always try to blame the Secular branch but the fact is the two were mixed there no clear disctition this before laicism and separation of Church and State so the Church had enourmous political power.

  • @Chevymonster203 you dont have to be sorry! I hate the church too. and hope their corrupted organisation will go to hell soon.

  • @Chevymonster203 the crusaders broke there covenant and went locco so stop thinking regular catholics are bad people just because of that plus these british peeps are idiots who r punishing people who break there laws

  • @Chevymonster203 killing Saint Joan Of Arc was Not The Work Of Church,Church Declared Her Christian Martyr And Saint. It Was The evilness and demonic of english army and some corrupt pro english bishops

  • @saccyind your forgetting the french nobility and aristocracy aswell, they handed her over

  • @OW41N It Was Not French But Burgundians Who Handed Over Saint Joan To english

  • @saccyind aha so the church was inocent? Man you are just as stiupid as these fuckers who say that hitler was a good man.

  • @Bobbounderliv i am not saying that church was innocent those bastard priests and bishops will be punished by God by end of the day english bribed and bought those bastard corrupt church officials To kill Her

  • @Chevymonster203 I agree I hate the catholic church 100%

  • @Chevymonster203

It is naieve to believe that the only religion that did this was the Catholic church. Please read your history as the Protestant Reformation was not any better but worse under ERI. She had this thing for hanging drawing and quartering. Everything to her was treason.

  • @Chevymonster203 you should know that the catholic church isnt the only branch of christianity, there are other churches. Catholic and christian arent synonyms

  • @Chevymonster203 don't be sorry to say it

  • @Chevymonster203 im a christian but i kinda agree with you

  • @Chevymonster203 c'mon haven't you watched The Wicker Man????

  • @fluffynoses Yeah, the notion that 'nature based religions" (druids etc) didn't percesute or horribly torture others is ridiculous. The catholic church or christians don't have a monopoly on bad behavior by any means.

  • its amazing how stupid people are as a society

  • the stress she was under must have been so un-bearable

  • live cremation- Burnt to ashes alive HOW HORRIBLE

  • In this movie Joan of Arc is played by Leelee Sobieski.
