This was the worst season for Dallas. Bobby Ewing was killed off for this season. Like many have said it is the infamous dream season. This 1985-86 season killed the show forever after this the show never had the must see feel to it anymore. They were just grazing on television as a show instead of being an event every friday night. It had become a tired routine.

this season was one of the best...until bobby was killed in the end of it, also season 86/87 was a good one, the rest afterwards was crap starting with bobby in the shower...and the main reason for dropping ratings were the changed time slots.

Where was the dwarf? And what was Priscilla Beau peep and Victoria Principal doing in it together if Bobby was dead? I'm watching every episode on UKTV gold at the moment. Got sky Plus so storing the best episodes. Dallas was the coolest soap ever! Love it!

Great opening credits, except for the shot over Texas Stadium. The Mavericks are the only good team in DFW. It's a shame that the oil barons get rich, though, while the oilers themselves get minimum wage.

Dallas had awesome opening credits. It made Texas look almost livable.

Um, sweetie, Texas is very livable for almost 24 million people. (i.e. 2nd most populous state in the U.S.)

This is the credits for the so called 'Dream Season' where Bobby was thought to be dead but returned in the shower at the end & losing alot of the shows audience in the process. This was the beginning of the end for Dallas.
