it is based off of CS Lewis' book Mere Christianity, where he argues that since we have in us a hope for another world that we do not belong here. He argues that we should not snuff out this hope, but embrace it. It is why nothing satisfies us. "There was something we grasped at, in that first moment of longing, which just fades away in the reality." Also, "Creatures are not born with desires unless satisfaction for those desires exists." Both from the chapter "Hope" in Mere Christianity.
