This song ultimately captures the sadness, suffering and loneliness of the Jumi tribe. When you stepped into this bejeweled city, the music captures your attention. You can feel the Jumi's years of sorrow. In the end, it took the compassion of a single human, you, to revive an entire race about to go extinct. The legend of one who is not a Jumi, who sheds a single tear for the Jumi, the very best scenario in this game.
By any chance do you have the music sheet for all the instruments that were involved in this song especially the violin since i am trying to play this song with my violin!
This is a beautiful rendition of the original song. Its use of symphonic melody fills all empty space inside the music. The sad thing is that the song is supposed to sound empty. This song accompanies an deserted city of tombstones sparkling around you. The original game's version accomplishes this setting better. Basic principle, everyone is dead and there is nothing you can do about it. This version seems very uplifting at times 2:15 which is directly in contrast with its idea.
@Mrmallardguy Well, considering this is an orchestral version made by Yoko herself, I don't really see the issue, if anything I find this one a lot sadder. :(
Once I decided to try to beat again Legend of Mana, but trying to complete Elazul's story. I'm happy that I made that decision, this is the best song on the game.
i feel like this song goes perfect for the tsunami victims in Japan,, to start with,, in my opinion this songs sounds like the winter (when the piano starts playing) and right now in Japan it's winter if i'm not mistaken,,, and then just the sad melody to it,, very good song,,
i love it, she's a great composer...her music, make your mind dance between two different dimmension's the one called reality, that tell you she's just another human like us, with the only difference that she see's beauty in everyplace she lie her eyes looking for inspiration...and the other one, is one full of dreams and fantasies that make her music touch the heaven, taking you with it to see it by yourself...
There's not a single bad moment in this song. Normally this kind of traditionally composed music ends up being overdone, easily dismissible. But not this. From start to finish it fits so well with any situation that warrants its presence, especially one represented by its title, but also by countless other representations.
I remember when I played in of Legends Of Mana still too of PSX times. I regard best at the history of RPG games . This song is also one from favourite. Ahh. I remember Bejeweled City and then fight against Jewel Beast. Times of such games will never already come back, but I hope that thanks to the crowd of fans such games will never be forgotten
Love , Legend of Mana , the best from the best RPG games ever !! <3
