Why do videos like this one only have 5376 views?! His playthrough videos are by far the best. Cornshaq is not only an awesome gamer but he also provides very interesting info about the games and he can easily talk for an hour without boring the viewer. I played Ninja Gaiden today and I got my butt kicked in the last level. I'm actually not the most patient gamer. But this video made me try again and I actually got a lot farther this time.

@gallaghd456 silence is golden, but not on walkthrus! i cant think of anything more insipid than to sit back and watch someone silently playing. this guy knows his stuff and deserves our respect
Barbarian's sword won't actually hurt you. You can have him swing it at you all day, but only if he runs into you do you get hurt.
It's funny because as kid, the level 2 boss (just getting through level 2 for that matter) was near impossible. Level 3 with the lake and forest...forget it! It was impossible as a 5 year old!

Ah, yes. The box advertises the "BIGGEST ARCADE HIT". What Ninja Gaiden (NES) actually shares with its arcade counterpart: A ninja named Ryu with a dead father...and that's about it.
I think it may be for the same reason that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in the UK... back in the 80s/90s, the UK government considered the term "ninja" to be "too violent", so any children's product with "ninja" in the name had to be renamed.
I think I rented this game like 20 times... Never got farther than the second level. In my own defense, I must have been like 5 years old during most of these rentals.
Ironically, I actually kinda preferred how your voice sounded here.

the MAJOR weapon you seem to have missed in your video is the spinning blade. you can pretty much 1 shot any bosses with it

Yeah all three of the Gaiden games took months of practice to be able to complete them without dieing especially the first one.
