I remember seeing this vid a couple of years ago and thinking the design was extraordinarily beautiful. Hoping this one was real, I eagerly waited for its release. Then the real iPad came and my heart sunk... to this day I still don't want it, not until they improve the design.

Seriously why would i buy an ipad over a sleek mac laptop. Mac has much more features and is less restricted in it's use. Ipad seems like a basic gigantic iPhone with maybe more potential in the apps nothing more. Everything you can achieve with the Ipad you can do with a PC, laptop, mac coupled with a good smartphone(iphone or otherwise).

Ya, you do have your point. The only convincing reasons I give myself not to get an iPad is if I have an iPhone 3GS/4 or 13" MB/MacAir. But then since I have none of these, I decide to give iPad a try.

Reading files means I need to import a lot of PDF documents with research details in nature. It can also serve as a 2nd monitor for me when coding, meetings etc. Ya, probably it could be true if I look at other similar products from other com but iPad comes very close with apps.

I just want to know why you would get an ipad, if you can just get an iphone? iPhones do more than iPads anyways. I just don't see myself be interested in those. Plus they seem like they would tear up easy. But that's just my opinion. I mean, I'm sure lots of people will like, and I see where they are coming from, it is nifty, but It's an oversized iPod Touch. The iPhone has more capabilities.

The iPad is also like a mobile digital book, although instead of just one book, its an entire library with thousands of downloadable books.

Also, bigger screen, more pixels, better resolution.
