When you are in the E of the shuffle, what are the notes you are playing to spice it up? I cannot figure it out! There are like 3 high notes in there and I would love to learn it. Thanks!
Awesome video man. Thanks so much, awesome likes too man. Just one thing, every now and then can you slow down your playing when youre trying to teach the lick. Thanks these lesson really give some inpsiration and help.
Dog, let me tell ya, you got the right thing going on there....every youngster out there has to listen to the bluesbreakers (this was when EC was at the top of his game) What I like most about the hideway tune is how it gives you the entire fretboard experience...A must song for the blues(starter) enthusiast.....hog~~
exactly what you say Dan, sometimes all it takes is a lick or a riff shown by someone else to make a big step foreward. You're a source of inspiration and creativity to me, thanks man :-)
Love this stuff, I play that basic shuffle and the SRV lick, but the way you play your 1,4,5 with that little something right at the end of each bar- I can't figure out. Any chance you might do another one of these with a slow version of the 1,4,5 ? Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Very, very nice, man. I just had to grab my axe and play along.
I think much of that Texas style shuffel playing that SRV does derives from Lightnin' Hopkins or whoever the cats were who Lightnin' got it from.

this turnaround reminds me of that peter green video they have on here. World keep on turning is what I think it is called
