Very, very nice, man. I just had to grab my axe and play along.

I think much of that Texas style shuffel playing that SRV does derives from Lightnin' Hopkins or whoever the cats were who Lightnin' got it from.

Dog, let me tell ya, you got the right thing going on there....every youngster out there has to listen to the bluesbreakers (this was when EC was at the top of his game) What I like most about the hideway tune is how it gives you the entire fretboard experience...A must song for the blues(starter) enthusiast.....hog~~

Love this stuff, I play that basic shuffle and the SRV lick,but the way you play your 1,4,5 with that little something right at the end of each bar- I can't figure out. Any chance you might do another one of these with a slow version of the 1,4,5 ? Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
