the only problem with the trick is when you slide your hand to cover the pencil in your ear the metal rim on the end of the pencil doesnt move so it can give away the illusion so i would say use a pencil that it all one colour on the outside

when you actually do the trick...and put the pecil in ur ear...the metal part of the eraser doesnt move...it just stays still...so if they look closely...it will be revealed
