@ Montano801. This is Robby Wyatt. Yeah I trained with him up until he left the Muay Thai Instatute. I havent seen or trained with him since. I sure do miss training with him though.
why'd you get a thumbs down? i'm actually looking into that, my friend is really good friends with eddy and fabio, and after watching this, this guy looks pretty kick ass
sounds good. you get one class free right? and does that means one class each? kinda sucks that i have to go all the way down to layton if i want to do the mma training, which i do.
Im not positive. I only do the Muay Thai. I haven't heard anything like that. From what I understand its, Monday wednesday friday BJJ and tuesday thursday Muay Thai. I dunno about a straight MMA class.
@montano801 He is doing semninarys and clicnics in latin america, he was on my city the last week. look //sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs593.snc3/31277_1473409036476_1271180890_31289604_5362806_n.jpg
@montano801 Yeah I trained with Sakasem up until he left the Muay Thai Instatute. I havent seen or trained with him since. I sure miss training with him though.
Sem is 50 yrs old and retired. Talking about him fighting Buakaw is stupid. Thinking Buakaw is untouchable is worse. Buakaw has been and continues to duck Yodsanklai. Yod > Buakaw when it comes to MT, and I like Buakaw.
now with that kind of guy ... asians are divided into groups ... the scrotum less ones and the one who says" i dont fucking care ill kill you" .. oh btw that guy u was beating up and doing your homework now owns a company while your flipping burgers
Been over 10 years since I've seen him (here in Chandler and after that, briefly at our own start-up in Gilbert) but man, he's just the best guy I've ever come to know and am humbled to say I've been trained by :]
Malacia what i mean is the one thats always backing up trying to dodge every hit is the one thats going to get their ass beat, it takes more energy to dodge hits then it does to hit...
I knee sparred with Sem on a couple of occasions. He is the strongest human being I have ever been in the clinch with. I've sparred with heavy weights that aren't even close to as strong as him in the clinch. He had an unusual style for a thai. Almost all hands and knees, he rarely threw kicks.
Sot Chitalada? I used to train there from about 2002-2004. There was a guy named Dee that was a trainer along with Sakasem, Kwame (I think he's at Flash now), Ryan, and some of the others.
no this is not Dee. i dont know him. Ryan is still there. i spar with him on occasions. sot chitalada came as an instuctor recently. he is from thailand. world champ in muay thai and wbc boxing champ. very good friend.
@Robbywyatt I know this is video Khru Sem, I was asking 1234vito if Sot Chitlada was another name Dee went by (he had a few aliases) ...I know we had a Saekson Janjira camp for a bit here too. Used to read about your fights, are you still over at MTIK? If you have an idea of where Dee is please let me know, my email is gdh1101@westminstercollege...
i seen the whole fight minus thr first round. I dint know how danny was able to keep on his feet becouse of all the kicks that he just ate. Sakasem beat the hell out of those legs.

Why the hell did I get a thumbs down? You should come over and check it out man. Sakasem does the night classes in the roy gym

Yeah im sure he'll give you one free class. If you going to Layton then thats not where Sakasem trains. Sakasem teaches the night classes in Roy.
And for the BJJ, I think Fabio does the Layton and Eddie does the Roy. I'm not sure tho, I only do the Muay Thai
rankinmt 2 years ago
thanks. are you sure that not all three teach the mma class?

For what it is worth Coban declined a fight with Sakasem and Coban > Buakaw in their primes

Sakasem is 50 yrs old now. His fighting career ended long before Buakaws's time. Like asking if Larry Bird faced off with C. Anthony in the NBA.

Sot is also very talented and fast. I have learned more than I ever thought I could. It's amazing what you can do when you train in Thai boxing.

Sem is the man. He got hosed against Danny Steele.
barutmt 5 years ago
That fight was a total crock of sh!t. Danny had to be propped up after the fight, he couldn't walk or even stand on his own.
The first round Sem held back and that probably cost him, although the rest of the fight he did nothing but beat the hell out of Danny.
