this pissed me off, i was online and people kept choosin this map, i was in 1st then would randomly slip like 5 spots .... so next match i followed them and 5 or more guys just stopped at this 1 spot lol.... when i copied them i just get a communication error -_-.
I never use this shortcut, mostly because I have dignity and skill. The people who use this glitch have no actual skill whatsoever. Without that glitch, they would most likely be helpless.
This glitch is so annoying. Whenever i race on maka wuhu online, i get a communication error because everyone takes this shortcut. at fist when the game came out i liked the glitch because nobody else new about it. now it is a horrible flaw in the course because i have to reconnect everytime this course is played.
It isn''t really the fact that people use this glitch that makes me mad, its the fact that people pick this place ALL THE TIME even if we have been there 10x before.

One time online i saw some guy try this trick, and i thought no way i'm gonna lose just because he cheated! so i did the same and it took tell the end of the race that he didn't make it, and i got a cheep win. i wanted to stop and let everybody catch up but i already crossed the finish line. i felt like a real jackass.

You HAVE to support doing it though.. because it's extremely rare to ever be in a race where someone doesn't do it & win the race. You're really forced into doing this cheat to compete online on this track, that's why I am here.. Because even though I win half the time when I play.. I NEVER win this one, I'm always cheated.
Nintendo said they don't have any plans to fix it. They probably know that it will still be a "fair race" if everyone does the glitch, it's just that it will make the race shorter.
They should make a downloadable patch in the Eshop that's just marked with "Extra courses" And when people download it they can't use the glitch and lots of chaos will ensue.

when someone picks makawuhu, just flick your wifi switch or hit the home button the second its selected and let the cheaters race on their own. dont give them the satisfaction.

I caught a cheater the other day, so I punished them for the next two games. This cheater was so bad that I had to stay right at the back with him. And at the end. Oh man. He felt my anger. Just as he tried to jump the final corner on Melody Motorway, I released my Spiny Shell, and watched him fall down the gap. It didn't help that Lakitu dropped him straight on to a Bullet Bill. By then, everyone else had crossed the line. Maybe next time, he will think twice before he ruins it for others.

Only cheaters use the glithes to cut the course. Enough said about that. I understand that Nintendo can't fix it since its data that is embedded to the catridge and not a disc so no patches could fix it. However, maybe a new copy with the patches in it that is sent out to those who already paid for it? Either way, it's easier to learn the glitches of the game and beat the cheaters at their own game than worry about things like that.

Found this out today, earlier online. Before I was in the race, waiting for the current race to end, I was watching the racer the game gave me. I saw him do this and got irritated. Now I make sure to never pick this course. If it is chosen, however, I make sure to go in first so that the cheaters learn.
there was a noob that did this glitch online so the next time we was on the course i followed him but he went too fast for me to find out how he did it so i searched this :D
LOL, I hacked the Ridge Racer 3D and Mario Kart 7 replays and made myself complete every track in like 0.00.001. I can imagine someone trying to defeat me in StreetPass, that will be a record breaker!

True story: I raced on this course once, and EVERY PLAYER except me, who didn't know how, used the glitch. I got 8th place. I'll never forget how miserable I felt as I tried as hard as I could to catch up, with no success. I HATE this course!!!

Because Mario Kart 7 wasn't programmed for software updates(basically, it's a ROM), they can only stop production of the current ROMs and release a patched ROM. That means anyone who bought the version 1 ROM can still do the glitch while owners of the patched ROM cannot.

This is the reason i stopped playing mk7 online. Sometimes i feel nintendo only cares about money nowadays. I used to like this track, but since i first heard of this glitch, I dreaded the moment whenever someone picked this track online. 1st time online, i wondered, why is this track always being picked? Found this out today, earlier online. Before I was in the race, waiting for the current race to end, I was watching the racer the game gave me. I saw him do this and got irritated. Now I make sure to never pick this course. If it is chosen, however, I make sure to go in first so that the cheaters learn.

LOL, I hacked the Ridge Racer 3D and Mario Kart 7 replays and made myself complete every track in like 0.00.001. I can imagine someone trying to defeat me in StreetPass, that will be a record breaker!

This glitch ruins the game some people just abuse it and I've been playing with people for the last half hour and 4 people have been spamming this course on the course selection screen sometimes its like Nintendo should get rid of the Glitch Maku Wuhu all together or get rid of every other course on the game except Maku Wuhu cuz thats all these assholes play learn to play the game and stop cheating thinking nobody else knows about it! your not cool your not bad ass so Gtfo

I call this course "Maka Fuck-You"... because whenever I play online there would ALWAYS be at least 3 or 4 jerks who would vote for this course EVERY TIME just so they can do the glitch and take advantage of the people who don't know it.
True story: I raced on this course once, and EVERY PLAYER except me, who didn't know how, used the glitch. I got 8th place. I'll never forget how miserable I felt as I tried as hard as I could to catch up, with no success. I HATE this course!!!

No offense to anyone who likes this, or even Nintendo themselves, but how the logic of updating the game to remove the glitch would "create an unfair advantage for the users of the original release of the game" adds up is beyond me. The glitch itself is already creating an unfair advantage to those who know how to exploit it.

@LittleAl016 I think you have a misunderstanding of what he said. Because Mario Kart 7 wasn't programmed for software updates(basically, it's a ROM), they can only stop production of the current ROMs and release a patched ROM. That means anyone who bought the version 1 ROM can still do the glitch while owners of the patched ROM cannot.

Every time I go online, there are always at least 2 people who always pick this course, even when we just played it. Sometimes I wonder the IQ of the people I'm playing against, but anyways, I would always wonder how I lost when nobody got in front of me. After searching this, I am so enraged at the fact that so many little eight-year olds win because of some glitch. I'm proud to say that after getting back on, and racing this course, I beat two glitchers and probably WRECKED their world.

This is the reason i stopped playing mk7 online. Sometimes i feel nintendo only cares about money nowadays. I think they're perfectly capable of fixing this glitch, but they're too lazy and don't want to pay their workers to fix this glitch. As much as i love nintendo, i feel they're starting to only care about money and not the people who are their biggest fans.

I used to like this track, but since i first heard of this glitch, I dreaded the moment whenever someone picked this track online. 1st time online, i wondered, why is this track always being picked? Its not that great. Then in the live clips of the track before my race, the person being filmed, drove off the edge. I was like "What the fuck is this idiot doing?" And he ended up ages ahead. Another time, I was in 1st on this track and the rank went from 1st to 8th in seconds.

Meaning Characters, new maps (courses) so the game doesn't get old, boring, lame in a month or so. Playing on the same tracks / battle arenas tend to get old, Nintendo. So PLEASE! Please start patching your games as your fanbase is really sick of the noob ultra shortcuts, it really ruined Mario Kart Wii as well. And Mario Kart Wii selled like Hotcakes, if you added Downloadable-Content to Mario Kart 7, I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes as well and you won't get so many negative feedback.

Nintendo, if you are reading this or watching this video as of now, please read this message. Most of us really like this course, and we seriously don't want this course to be glitched, both Wuhu courses are glitched, and the Wuhu Courses are very popular, especially Maka Wuhu.. We seriously want a patch to both of those courses with fixed Checkpoints / Re-spawnings. Not only that, we also want Downloadable-Content for this game.
