I have a question that I hope you can answer for me. The piece above the barrel that you slide back, will the gun still shoot if that is broke? It's completely broke off to where I can see the spring inside. It needs a new battery, but I don't want to waste money on that if the gun won't shoot anymore.

@cmd409 Yes, the gun will shoot without that. That part is simply for visual realism; it really does nothing. I'd just check for some cracks in that part of the gun, as the "bolt" (the thing you're describing) should be really stuck in there.

Please!! Please tell me why my mp5a4 doesnt shoot semi automatic!! If I put it on semi automatic it shoots 4 or 5 bb's at once!! (No, I don't like that shotgun effect) I use an high cap mag and the standart battaries and I did nothing wrong! It's new so please tell me what to do or how to fix it! Thats not the Correct Grip for the left hand, thats no the original grip. but the rest of the gun is correct

i like everything on this gun, and i got it for about 1 day, well not even a day and then it stopped shooting like the gun to battery wasnt responding, i dont know if this is common on this gun, i am assuming not since it is a JG and i am hoping to get another model of this gun, but please respond because i do not know if i should get this gun again and hope it works this time or get an all around different gun.

I have this gun and all I can say is that's it's really sexy but it can't be used for cqb because it shoots(well at least mine) 390-410 fps and in Florida the limit is 350 so I'm downgrading the spring and getting a better battery so the gun will be a cqb monster. And I also recommend this sexy gun to anyone who wants to have a monster of a gun in their hands

some of the wires are not made to take that voltage and could burn the gun out which is why only custom guns use 9.6v batts or if the gun is made to take that power

Also, are the sights actually any good? A mate of mine has this gun and I love it so I'm getting the same gun but the sights seem pretty weak. I was considering getting a RIS rail that's meant for scopes and also get a laser, as I'll only really be using for CQB. Do you think it's really necessary?

This is understandable. You can not put a full size 9.6v large type battery in the gun without the internal stopper in the full stock breaking. Even with this happening, the battery or the stock could become even more damaged. So would suggest buying 2 9.6v mini type batteries, or 1 9.6v mini and maybe even 1 10.6v mini battery.

Actually, the switch is great. But, when you select safe on the selector switch, it's not really assuring.

Most likely their the same, just the one with out the fixed stock (the gun you want) holds a smaller battery than the gun I have. Other than the battery difference, the guns are identical.
