he's not trying, I'm sure u r not from Sri Lanka, otherwise u would know why he speaking with a such an accent. his alma matter was Trinity College, and if u were to speak to anyone who went to that school, they would all have the same accent. There u go, now u know something about school in SL.

I think tabbaci is right, sanga does have a un_unique accent for a sri lankan! and it's obvious this is all made up stuff and he's trying to be someone else! if you follow his speeches and talk shows over a period of time you could figure out for ur selves how it start gradually getting to sound like a hybrid between a brit and south African or Afrikaans or something totally messed up!!
Anwayz appreciate his vocabulary coz he's the best English spoken player in the whole of sub continent!
