Overall, we are not in control of the world economy or its monetary system. We are at the mercy of the extremely wealthy. However, I prefer to continue to put my trust in God and Him alone. He is my provider and sustainer of my life. No mater what economy or what happens in the future, I know He will care. Still, I think it is important to stand up and speak out and be counted on record because all our voices count.
If we continue going in the direction we are with the trillions of overspending/debt and printing money to help us out of the trouble, it will cause the value of the U.S. dollar to decrease. I have seen this happen to many countries. If the U.S. is bankrupt the Euro or another type of world currency will seem like the best solution. The only other solution is for the government to find a way to get more money from people be it taxes or a new program like gov. health ins.
Google "currency echange rates" , pick a site and play with the interactive curency charts, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Obama has announced that there will be no more money spent on bank bailouts.
There are two ways to get more taxes from people. Taxes could be raised -boo, hiss - or jobs could be created to increase the tax base. Some of the Stimulus money is going to training in the field of electronics. "Green" jobs are a pet project, too.

There are more than two ways to increase tax revenues. You can actually increase tax revenues by cutting taxes on the middle-lower class. This will then increase spending on goods and services (consumers are now more willing and able to spend) which will increase sales tax revenues as well as increase GDP which will lower unemployment.
The trickle down theory is stupid... so give the money to the people who NEED it directly... duh!
I have a lot of friends who are Black Americans and even they do not like Obama.

The USD isn't devalued, the trend is that it's steadily gaining against ALL foreign currencies. Please look things up before posting.
