Wow, a name I haven't heard in such a long time. Yeah, a very good classical guitarist. The last time I heard about Thibault was in one of my Classical Guitar magazines but was very disappointed when they discontinued the series at the book store I usually go to =( Thanks Tim for bringing me back down the beauty of Thibault's playing once again.

I've been meaning to post this for a while now. It took me some time to find the video I shot of him back in 2004. I took him down to see the master guitar builder John Gilbert back then and John was so surprised that Thibauld could play so cleanly with such high action on his Smallman. Thibault explained that he wanted the full dynamic range of the guitar and the high action gave him this.

A very musical artist indeed.
