I would like to say that my 200mW red with a focusable lens will cut through electrical tape in about the same amount of time. Not as impressed as I thought I would be.

The Arctic is like a Tesla, a super fast electic car that produces no sound. Electric cars and motorcyles are very fast but uncannily silent. I hope somebody makes an attachement that produces various sounds for this laser. I think that would be a nifty effect to have something like a light Saber sound to go with the power of the Arctic.
@dual36 no you dont they work for about a week then die, the beam is not circular its rectangular, wicked just sucks for lying to us all about shipping time...go with the new dragon lasers 445nm...better quality at a better price too
@ciscoyao715 Oh please, they do not all stop working after a week. As with all new products there were some flaws which WL is fixing. While I still don't agree with their method (i.e. posting that the lasers were in stock when in fact they needed the funds to build them), the laser, for 200 dollars (when I bought it) is not bad at all. Accordingly, the 1W laser from dragon is ALSO a rectangular beam.
i might be getting an arctic spyder 3 and i will upload videos of me burning through as many cd cases at the laser can burn through
