Any one who actually tattoos would know that he made pretty darn good time. Anyone who tattoos knows a full color piece takes much longer. It's far from "ridiculous for a piece like that". You can buy special creams or pastes for tattoos but it's basically keeping it moisturised and protected from the sun (covered/sun lotion). The ink will always spread a little making the tattoo look older but you can minimize it by looking after it.
