  • what the cop did called adrenaline rush...in times of emergency you can even lift a refrigerator just by yourself

  • OMG A Locomotive Train!!!!!!!

  • at 1:28, it shows a dash 9 locomotive. In the rest of it, it showed an SD-40 (2)

  • OMG I was thinking ' oh my god one of them is gonna die' I'm Happy 4 them

  • When the original csx horn was wen he was talkin the same horn was on a different train in 2007

  • @allgood2000 does he gets awarded?

  • First shot of the train had a GE Dash 9 locomotive, second had had an EMD SD40-2. Were there 2 trains? lol

  • Put it in neutral?

  • and people say cops are nothing but pigs... makes me sick

  • who cares about the car seat, just get the kid out of it !

  • Wow talk about a CLOSE CALL!

  • istill say that Cop had some help from angels.. even though couldnt see them, they was there.

  • when warrented the human body can do almost anything yes it's possible for the cop to lift the car yes it's possible for him to move the car as well so for those of u complaining it's fixed get a book and read and STUDY the human body

  • Also lol the first train at 1:26 is a dash 9 44-8wc then later its a gp-38; you can tell cause the lights are in the middle and it has the 2 ditch lights. The loco in the later part of this scene only has the horizontal light setup at the top only. Hence a engine change in this reenactment.

  • HULK COP

  • finaly something on youtube that tells ppl that cops isent that bad at all the ppl saying that are all scared of the cops when they have done somthing wrong god bless the cops and this family

  • if the train was really on a straight stretch and the engineer saw the officer pushing the car off the tracks ahead the engineer would have had to stop the train or at least slow the train down

  • in which direction was the train going

  • strong man

  • Even if there is NO train coming get out of the freakin' car immediately!

"He helped with our wedding" lol what does that mean?

  • Well done, Officer!!!! There's someone who will have their wings when they get to heaven, Kudos

  • amazing what adrenaline will do to a human being in times like this.

  • i still say, if the car was moved that way that cop had a couple Angels on duty as well!

  • at the start it is a CSX Dash 9 and when it goes by the crossing it is a GP40-2

  • at the begining of the video it is a csx dash 9 and when it goes by it is a stealth

    GP40-2

  • The train was on the second track, and there is no way a train moving that fast,at least the way its presented here,"brushed my clothing",if it was that close he would be standing up,,,,,,hollywood

  • Why are there 2 locomotives? a c40-8w and an sd40-2?

  • CSX DASH 9

  • i know it a reeactment i used to watch this show but they screw up with the locomotives on here when you first see the train its one type of loco then next time its a differ one lol

  • That's called adrenaline

  • I wish I was that strong...to push a car.

  • Vance is right: Lance is the coolest! Wow, that was amazing.

And do you love it... Lance and Vance. Neat.

  • Yeah its a amazing What some people can do with the help Of Angels!!

  • We can only imagine how the engineer of the train felt. He (or she) must have been scared to death.

  • That is one Asuam Police Officer "Great JOB" AJR

  • Gods hand at work.

  • haha they showed like 3 different CSX locomotives

  • i still say and i dont if ya'll believe it, there was an Angel Or 2 there with him, to help

  • The police officer was a true lifesaver in this situation. Had he not been there, they wouldn't have made it.

  • This Cop is a hero! God bless all our brave men and women in uniform!

  • A train's coming toward you! Look out! Someone could get killed if they don't do something fast. Vance says at 2:16 'The train's gonna smash us!' and Jan said 'No, it isn't.' hope they're OK. I live north of Waxhaw in Charlotte. Is that right allgood? Waxhaw is south of Charlotte.

  • @ZMommaL56

    I live close to u

  • She was stupid. Get your kid out of the car immediately. Don't wait for a train to come. Put it in neutral and let the cop push it off.

  • It is amazing what some people can do when a life is at stake

  • Were those 2 trains CSX?

  • @EmSTrO7x3 Yep looks like 2 gp-38's.

  • Crossing signal goes off at 1:22

  • That means the train's coming. Oh dear. When the train comes, get out of the way or you'll be killed.

  • this women is an idiot what person would leave their kid in a car when a train is coming the when they hear the train relize oh my kids in the car i think i need to get him give me a dang break

  • I can't imagine growing up and my mother telling me that a police saved us both from getting plowed by a train. At that time I would have cried and joined the police force.

  • I would have just rammed the car with mines and pushed her off the tracks.

  • Just watched part of it without the sound on. Still makes me well up :-)

That cop is a bloody hero!

  • Even if it did (if you're talking about the emergency stop function), it still may not have stopped in time

  • What kind of locomotive engine was it!

  • Amazing rescue great job!

  • not saying its fake, which it's not. but i love how it shows an ES44AC engine, then a SD40-2, then a GP-35.

  • What kind of car is that? It's British, whatever it is.

  • why didn't these 2 women get out of their car and help the cop push??!!

  • I hope he got a promotion or a raise or something for this...seriously, he is an awesome cop! Thank you officer!

  • it showd two different csx train

  • Its looks like that cop underwent a sudden burst of strength that some researchers believe results from extreme fear or stress. He said he was able to lift the front of the car off the ground - an impossible feat for a normal person under normal circumstances. Sadly the research and findings regarding these 'sudden bursts of strength' are not yet recognised my medicine due to lack of evidence

  • bet the first thing he did when he got back 2 the station was changed his undies lol

  • Waxhaw is south of Charlotte where I live and no episodes of Rescue 911 happened there. Golly it was frightening that the car was on the tracks and a train was coming! I was thinking they were both going to get run over. I heard Vance say "The train's gonna smash us!" Jan said "No it isn't."

  • I would just have pushed the car with the cop car...Wouln't that have been easier? and Faster? Good job tho, amazing strength

  • How come the train did not stop

  • This is on of my favorite episodes

  • As a locomotive engineer, I'm not going to shoot em' until there's contact made.

  • God bless our Police Officiers for all they do and all the people they help! They are heroes

  • This policeman is a real hero

  • Great episode truly amazing what one human can do when adrenaline is rushing!

  • One of my favorite episodes

  • Rescue 911 is my favorite show it was very good show!

  • oh no! they died! "looks behind train" omg there alive? what is that guy a body builder or something? how did he pull that car?

  • Watch at 2:06 ... the one crossing gate is "up" and it was down at the beginning of the video ... phony if ya ask me !!!!

  • This isn't actual footage, it's a re-enactment. Most Rescue 911 re-enactments don't have that many continuity errors.

  • Also it could have been a gate malfunction or it got caught on something

  • i didnt really nortice

  • LOL AND 2 DIFFERENT LOCOMOTIVES. The First Locomotive is a CSX C44-9W, and the one that went past the crossing is a CSX GP40-3t

  • okay why didnt those ladys help instead of watching

  • @meadam04 it could be busted or something

  • @meadam04 IT IS A REPLAY . MEANING IT IS REACTMENT.

  • @meadam04 just enjoy it and shut up

  • but still the ending was great!!

    makes me want 2 b a cop

  • yea....i would have had her put it in neutral and i would have pushed it with the cruiser

  • Vance Lance lol

  • Why does the "train" change locomotives so often? In the first clip, it looks like a CSX Dash 9 is on the head. But in the next clip, it appears to be a pair of CSX SD40-2 locomotives. Is this a typical thing of Rescue 911 episodes?

  • Could be a AC4400 at the begining

  • Ciuld have been an AC4400 in the begining and the 2 SD40's were in stealth and regular paint.

  • couldnt they ram the car with the police car?

  • that cop is a true hero

  • Wow ! What a guy ! BRILLIANT !

  • it was sad when he said "the little boy looked at me and said......................your my police officer".

  • I know its a life threatning situation, I just laugh at how the kid says "The trains gonna smash us!"

  • Rescue 911 i love this show this is my favorite episode!

  • Something I don't get here. As the train was going by, the women were saying how they didn't know if the car was hit or not. Not to be rude or anything, but I would assume that if the car WAS hit, there would be a loud crashing sound, wouldn't there?! Since there was no crash, obviously, it should mean the car was not hit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I agree with you, EvilSpoofAuthor :)

  • I agree as well, but with all the noise the train makes you may not hear a direct hit

  • Hey, anyone know where this one went? It's the only one I've been trying to see. lol. Do we know if there is another somewhere?

  • 2:06 the gates weren't even down.

  • OMG why does the engine pick up speed and not stop its going fast enought ot apply the emgrcry

  • i cant believe that daughter and mother was just watching, they cud have went to help

  • They might have felt there wasn't a reason to because of the cop behind the woman having trouble.

  • I hadn't thought of that

  • no Its a C30 most CSX trains are C30's or Dash 9's

  • you are forgetting dash 8's of the early 90's. A dash 8 is no different than the Dash 9.

  • Well I know a lot of us are railfans who watch this but the point of this video is not what kind of train it was, but rather that A train almost hit the car.

  • what the heck first at 1:37-1:38 it's a C44WC Dash 9 and at 1:48 it looks like a SD45T-2 or a GP40 or a SD 24 low hood

  • looks like a gp 38 also the horn changes

  • Two words: STOCK FOOTAGE!

  • hmmm this is so phony ! Look as the video hits 2:07 . The crossing gate on the side where the cop is trying to push the car off the track is suddenly up !!! Are we to believe that one man can push a car off a rail road crossing all by himself anyways? Expecially an older car !! Back in the day before cars were made of plastic and fibre glass? I am not buyin that!!! Staged and phony.

  • People push cars all the time when they break down, in non emergency situations. This is definitely plausible.

  • It's called a reenactment.

  • a car isn't difficult to push unless it's uphill, or it's not in neutral.

i highly doubt he LIFTED any car. if he lifted it, that wouldn't help anything. the car would still be on the tracks.

  • He lifted it and pushed it off the tracks like a wheelbarrow.

  • i still say that cop had an Angel or 2 give him a hand,,

  • technically it IS possible to lift a car; if you have enough adrenaline in your system, you'd be surprised what you can do.

See the pickup truck heros episode. Two guys actually lifted a pickup truck off a baby. That weighed much more than that little red car in this one.

  • @allgood2000

adrenaline is the answer here. adrenaline rushes will do this

  • @allgood2000 cars dont work like wheel barrows they has suspension.

  • also, in a situation like this, your adrenaline is rushing like mad, and sometimes the regular human being can do the impossible when your adrenaline is pumping.

  • Have u ever heard of Adrenalin, sometimes in a scary situation such as this people can attain what is considered an inhuman strength and do things they otherwise could not do normally.

  • Bad Editing and Continuity Error:

The approaching train is led by a wide cab as shown at 1:28 but, when they cut back to the train at 1:46, it has magically transformed into a standard cab!

  • did that horn when the train was close amost sound like the one on train vs truck

  • agreed with Dialga1241. God bless em all. Good for that cop being in the right place at the right time.. I hear lot of ppl saying like fixing to go out N so on is that southern thing? I dont hear that up where i live.

  • Yes, I believe so. I said "I'm fixing to leave" one time, and boss (who was from Canada) made fun of me. I'm from Virginia, and people say that all the time. Another word you'll hear a lot in the south is 'liable'. For example, "That dog is liable to bite you if you don't leave it alone," or, "That door is liable to swing open and hit you."

  • Heh I may not be from virigina, But grew up only a state away in WV. I live in Maine now, moved when I was like 6 but still have a bit of the speach pattern...people here point it out a lot.

  • @TiffBabe07 yeah, we say "Fixin' to" a lot in the south. I'm from Arkansas and my parents are from Missouri. They never heard that term until they moved here. My cousins are all from the Kansas City area, so they give me a hard time about saying "fixin' to" and "coke" for a soda. It doesn't bother me, really, I think it's fun!

here's another one for you: a really heavy rain is often called a "frog choker". Not really sure where it came from, but it's fun to say. Catty-wumpus means lopsided.

  • God bless these people the good thing was the god was there and he gave that power to that man to save those people and and made it so the trains stairs or plow hit them god is there when times are drastic

  • i think the Lord sent a couple Angels to assist him

  • this is when u put the car in reverse ur neurtral and push, or have another car push urs

    DUH!!!!!!

  • Why didnt the train crew go into emergeny? the engineer should have gotten fired for not going into emergency.

  • maybe the brakes on B-327 were all f***ed up from something else

  • good point,but that doesnt look like a B32-7,it looks more like a GP38,or a GP30

  • Never..And I mean NEVER TRUST A PORSCHE

  • The train's gonna smash us! No it isn't!

    That is the best line!!!!!

  • ethier he's the worlds strongest man in a suit, or god gave him the strength to move that, I'm gonna go with number 2! :D

  • Desperstion Gives You Strength, Or Maybe Its Just That Rush Of Adrenaline Before You Die But That Was Close.

  • At 4:03 there is a technical goof: The Railroad arm is in the up position even though it was shown down @ 1:31

  • I'm real surprised the kid was so calm while a speeding locomotive was roaring towards them...ya don't really understand the concept of death at that age I suppose..

  • Truthfully, i would have thought to just ram the car with mine to get it off. I know that runs the risk of potentially stalling mine, but the police one is government funded.

I'm not a police officer by any stretch of the imagination, so when I say my and mine, I don't mean to impose as an officer except in this demonstrative paragraph.

  • small rocks nah they just explode when run over

  • Yea CSX!

  • putting rocks on track are dumb

  • i still say He had help from a Angel...^i^

  • No doubt! I don't know if it was an Angel, but God Himself. there's no other explanation (ok, you can say the endorphins and what not got the super human strength, but God created science, so you can point it back to God.

  • CSX!

  • lucky!

  • actually its not luck i just put or 2 rocks on and then i run like hell

  • the tracks near my house are fun i put rocks on and stuff when a train was 100 ft away i wnt and put a rock on

  • Surely he popped the car into neutral before trying to move it? Their reenactment made it look like he was trying to move the car while it was still in park.

  • If it was a manual, then it wouldn't have park. Even if it was an automatic, the woman might have left it in whichever gear it was in when it stalled.

  • I can't believe that something i like to collect is considered dangersous in the reall world. well what is really ironic is how a car would brake down right in the middle of the crossing istead of just being halfway or just not even braking down after or before the tracks. engines must be consider death machines ten time worse the than cars.

  • it was also found out that he was either on drugs or it was suicide, cause a family friend of mine works for CSX(the owner of the train), he crashed into car 7, so there was no way he was trying to outrun it.

  • near my house a couple weekends ago, a guy was pulled over by police for a broken light, when they went up to his car he drove off because he had a revoked liscense and an arrest warrant. he got into a chase with police, they were approaching train tracks and the cops backed off but the guy drove right into the train, it threw him from his vehicle, and dragged his car along the tracks and blew up his car. the guy died obviously. but i dont trust train tracks at all, i keep my kids away from them

  • amazing

people complain about the police but thank god we have em

    guy deserves a medal

  • wow! That close!

  • There's something I've noticed in my lifetime. that when a Human, no matter how educated, no matter how advanced, no matter how civilized...When Danger time hits, the raw urge to survive pushes through. When that happens, humans can do extraordinary things. We were moving a cast-iron wood furnace downstairs, Me and my friend's dad are on the lower end, and my friend and his brother are on the upper end...It fell and nearly crushed my friend's dad, but somehow I was able to maneuver it away.

  • That's scary!

But thank god he was there.

  • NOTE: If you ever come across this type of situation, don't screw around with trying to push the car off the tracks - use another vehicle to do it... it's a lot quicker.

  • He probably didn't have time to get back into his police car, push her, and then get out of the way himself. They probably drew out the amount of time it took for the train to get to the crossing to make it more suspenseful for television. Where I live, it takes 30 seconds or less from the time the lights start flashing to the time the train reaches the crossing.

  • I Know I used this video in my english project and i think that 30 sec is not enough time what if it were a school bus they can take 90 sec to evacuate

  • i think the good Lord sent a pair of Angels to give him some strenght.

  • at 1:24,i thought to my self,oh shoot

  • OMG!I have a 14 month old. And I would be freaking out if this happened to me! I felt my heart skip a beat!

  • when i moved down here to nort carolina my family went over that same crossing

  • i would do the same for a cop if he was in danger. god bless police officers. they are brave hearts

  • I hope you're not naieve enough to really mean that. There are some good cops in the U.S.A. but a lot of extremely bad ones. They are not all the same and someone is not a "brave heart" or perfect just because they're a cop

  • not as many "bad" ones as some people may let on, actually.

  • Well lots of stuff is exaggerated to some extent, but there are still a heck of a lot of bad cops in the U.S.A. and regardless of how good a police force is, that still doesn't automatically make someone a good person just because they wear that force's uniform

  • But does that automatically make them a bad person, then?

  • No. But I hate it when even when brutality is self-evident, people make excuses for U.S. cops, and when people praise cops for having the title "police" rather than looking at their actions. Lance deserves a medal. The cops in the other video I mentioned need to be in prison for life.

  • When you really care about someone and you believe, and you really show some feeling actually meaning it with all your heart, God will give you the power. :D

  • So true...another miracle....God gave that man the strength and power and made the car move out the way.

  • You don't know what religion he was. He might have been helped by buddah
