What is so funny/ good about " beating " a speed camera. This film should be shot, not on an airport runway, but outside a infants school at hometime on the local street, and maybe then, just maybe, these selfish idiots could see the danger that they are encouraging and the lives of family's that are destroyed ,many thousands, by people who think it is good to exceed the speed limit.

I'd see your point if they were trying to do it in a focus but they aren't. They aren't encouraging it, they're just providing an intresting and funny show for people to watch. Build stealth technology in your car for example if your really commit id to beating the speed camera you could buy an old anti missile disruptor it should fit in the boot of any car.
speed cameras will kill more than save, people driver slower in towns etc were speed cameras are and use lower gears so use more petrol a car driving at 29mph is far less economic than one driving at 35mph, and when millions of cars are driving at the lower speed to avoid getting speeding fines thats an extra few hundred thousand barrels of oil burnt every day which means peak oil will happen quicker and without oil no fertilizers or pesticides can be made so millions in the third world starve..

@niallyd95 If English wasn't meant to evolve into different dialects, then the fact that it ever evolved from Old English in the first place would, by your logic, make modern British English a "load of rubbish".
But hey, all our languages evolved from older languages. Our ancestors (assuming they were intolerant bigots) would think we're all speaking rubbish bastardizations of their languages.

@whoohaaXL American English is over-simplified, because you (generalisation - Americans) can't cope with spelling words correctly, or words that sound like other words - for example Colour, Sulphur and Cheque. American language is regressing more towards a sequence of sounds in relative context which is closer to how animals communicate - no disrespect intended.

He says that it's is a fair assessment that the British look down on Americans because it's the cool thing to do. You are over-analyzing our language. He said that British English is heavily influenced by the French language however American English is made to be different from the British because back then America hated you guys so much that they regretted even having connections with you.

@tehPete As a result Americans pretty much changed everything and said screw you (as we have always done honestly). This hatred for you guys is one reason why we drive on the opposite side of the road as well. However, he also said another reason the change occurred is for efficiency. It's more efficient to write things as it sounds because we were at a crossroads because America was setting up it's educational system and pretty much the boundaries of American English had to be set.

Now, smart one, you fail to realize that Humans are animals therefore you are an animal communicating with another so Americans are animals communicating just like British are animals communicating. Colour, Sulphur and Cheque are not "correct" but original there is a difference. We just removed the French influence from the words. I showed him your comment and he found it laughable.

I just copied things from my college paper for that same class with that English English Professor and apparently it must not be bullshit considering I got an A on it. It only took like 5 minutes and no, we changed the language because we hated you not the other way around. That wouldn't make any sense for us to changed the language just because someone else hates us. We wanted to make it more efficient and to date.

@niallyd95 English wasn't standardized until after the colonies had broken off from England. Until that point, spelling and syntax were a matter of whichever the writer preferred, and the only reason either country even instituted standards was to piss each other off. English is just English, whether you want to accept it or not. Being bitchy about anomalies and who started what just makes everyone look petty and stupid.
(Both forms are common where I live.)

Some accents are less region-specific, such as Received Pronunciation or General American, but even those have evolved over time. 1950's RP sounded different to today's RP. The 'original' way of speaking English, even if that could be defined, is long dead.
