I agree that Aion won't pose much a threat tot he WoW phenom that has taken the genre by storm. Indeed, the logic behind stating that Guild Wars 2 and Star Wars might put dent in the behemoth's subscribers is also well founded. Though Blizzard is known to have a few tricks up their sleeves to keep people on their games (In addition to their movie hype).

However GW2's gameplay and cost effective stance seems to be the future of MMO gaming; cash shop, yearly expansion, no fear of losing toons.

the 8 skillbar is for as the Name says.. Skillz, ur good if u can pick right Skills at a different moment, like when u Solofarm in Different Kind of places, Different kind of Foes. when u go pvp in different arenas and Arena modes, thats the point why u only can use 8 skillz, WoW u only can like " oh now i can use that one, and wow, that did mouch, oh, wounder what this do?" its not for a pro, and u have to Pay like 29 Dollar/month for testing new spells and wow Got not even an Real Story line

they give 8 spells because the game wouldn't fell the same all the time before missions you have to prepare best build for possible situations if you think thats is shit probably you just don't see those things that makes games like gw unique, any way look at wow many skills and only couple that you are using most of spells are worthless and gw every spell has some good things and not so it is more balanced I think :)

first of all there is duel class so u can be a elementalist/mesmer or something there is about 70 different spells for each class including elite spells that u need to capture from boss the reason for the 8 spells is u can make combos between ure two classes that can solo some of the hardest parts of the game if u can use them right you can also switch ure second class so theres technically endless amounts of combinations or we call builds its a very tactical and skilled game

lol yea but see... thats brings me right back to what i said about this game being shit... every game is tactical, no matter what game you play there will be certain degrees of tactics you have to use. The thing I said was that this game sucks compared to WoW because in this game you get, like you said, over 70 different spells... 70 SPELLS! Just like in WoW you get a lot of different spells, but you can actually use ALL of them in WoW, unlike this where you can only use 8, and thats my quip.

ya but u gotta understand first of all u only use about 10 spells or less in wow anyways so pretty much alot of spells are useless anyways and i know because i have a 80 hunter i play both games i like both equally but i think guild wars is a more skilled game i can set 5 spells in that game which will be more effective by 5 times then every spell i got on my hunter

i think if u started playing from the begining like i did u would enjoy it alot and appreciate builds you can make im not much of a fan of grinding but i like the idea of a epic rpg which wow brings and being able to get the best armor and thats wat i think guild wars 2 is bringing pretty much the same epic concept as wow but just alot more there game style there will still be the 8 spells but people enjoy fooling around with it

newbie necro and btw for firemonster123, a flesh golem (elite summon) reaches lvl 25! and matvekk use a blood magic build with protection and healing prayers from monk and u can solo most of things with and without 55 hp build
