Ok, I have mixed emotions about Zhu Zhu Pets. I love them, and I'm older than 10 but, Listen to this : 0:22 to 0:25 Thats SO cruel to Hamsters, and I happen to have one named Penny! BTW in case of confusion, Penny's a real hamster. I mean their basically saying "buy these electronic pets instead of a real one because real ones POOP!" So, I don't know if I like them or not.

Very cute...but I hate the way the slogan is "fun without the mess." Of course real hamsters, like any pet, need to be cared for. We don't want our children to view animals as burdens and messes and think that cuddling a stuffed animal is better than having a real pet to bond with, love and care for. They would all be missing out on the amazing experience of sharing their lives with a real animal. Pets are not "messes" - they are a joy and they enrich our lives, who cares if they poop?
